To help you make a decision, we have selected five special ships from our fleet to introduce to you:

Under impressive sails: the Wapen fan Fryslân

When this stately three-master enters the harbor, passers-by on the pier stare, amazed. 55 meters (180 feet) long, with lovingly restored details, it’s no wonder that the Wapen fan Fryslân attracts everyone’s attention. On this real sailing ship, your tour of discovery on the Dutch Wadden Sea and IJssel Lake will be an unforgettable adventure. After all, it is a very special group experience when you all work together to hoist the sails and enjoy the magical moment when the engines stop and the ship glides over the water in majestic silence. Usually the sea is so calm that you can relax with a soak in the whirlpool on deck. Cabins: 12. Passengers: max. 36.

As comfortable as your living room: the Sarah

When you come on board the Sarah, you’ll notice it immediately: the owner, Martien van de Velde, does everything he can to make his guests feel at home. It starts with a warm welcome and continues with the cabins, which are particularly spacious at 10m² (108ft²) and, of course, all have their own bathroom. On the large sundeck, the entire group of travelers can relax outside in the open air. But the heart of this comfortable barge is the cozy living and dining area, where you can sit together with your group for hours, almost like at home in your own living room. This cozy and informal atmosphere makes the Sarah the ideal ship for a tour with family and / or friends. Cabins: 10. Passengers: max. 22.

Tasteful and particularly comfortable: the Princesse Royal

This premium ship is in a class of its own. When setting up the Princesse Royal, the owners Roy van der Veen and Johan ten Kate spared no expense or effort. The tastefully furnished interior of this ship, which has been converted for river traffic, is decorated in elegant gray and white tones. Loving details such as the bar, built from a historic lifeboat, and the teak sun deck round off the stylish furnishings. The 16 spacious cabins (11-14 m² or 118-151 ft² in size) are all on the lower deck. All have their own bathroom with shower and toilet and if you want to retreat for a while you can relax in front of your own satellite TV in your cabin. Is there a talented musician in your travel company? There is a piano in the spacious salon of the Princesse Royal. If you feel like it, you can relax in the jacuzzi on the raised aft deck while enjoying a drink and the wonderful view of the surrounding area. With its sophisticated furnishings, the Princesse Royal is the ideal ship for festive occasions or a business trip. Cabins: 16. Passengers: max. 36.

For friends and family: the Lena Maria

Small but sweet: the Lena Maria has been part of our fleet for many years and is a popular ship for traveling with families and friends. She plies various routes in the Netherlands including the Hanseatic Route and the round trip through Friesland. Starting this season, the new owners, Eelke and Carlien, will bring a breath of fresh air to our classic ship. The young couple has completely redesigned the lounge and restaurant area and set up a cozy bar. Eelke has many years of experience as a captain and is looking forward to welcoming the first guests on his own ship soon. Young families are in very good hands with Eelke and Carlien; after all, they had their little daughter only last year! Cabins: 12. Passengers: max. 24.

The slim French woman: the Fleur

Petite, slim and sky blue: the Fleur is made for the narrow locks and canals in the heart of France. In the interior, too, fresh color accents and loving details create a wonderfully French atmosphere. In the cozy sitting areas you can settle in and relax with a glass of good French wine. Or you can enjoy a mild summer evening on the semi-covered sun deck while the landscape drifts by. The experienced operators, Steffie and Evert Jan, will not only give you the best insider tips. They will also ensure that you and your group won’t go wanting for anything along the way. Cabins: 10. Passengers: max. 20.
