Frans Witkamp

I’m Frans Witkamp, and I’ve actually been a host in a lot of different (working) environments ever since my student years, when I studied Cultural Anthropology. You could say that I was practically born on a bicycle, and I have done many cycling vacations in Europe. As an entrepreneur, I’ve owned an outdoor sports organization and a ski school, among other things. In winter I’ve been a ski guide with Dutch groups in the Dolomites for many years. For the last couple of years I’ve been a tour leader at Boat Bike Tours and this is for me the best work I have ever done. Every trip, ship and group makes me happy again. There is space for all my interests in history, development, encounters and even making music.
I hope and expect to lead many more trips in the years to come.
