The day begins with a well-rounded breakfast leaving you fit to explore the diversity of the Kvarner bay islands on a guided bike tour. Be it the medieval city of Rab, the car-free road in the sky on Dugi Otok or the contemplative life of the dwellers on the flower island of Molat, each day brings with it new discoveries. Evenings are mostly spent in picturesque harbor towns with winding alleyways where a great range of bars and cafes stand host for a relaxing evening.
The friendly crew will always make sure that you enjoy an easy-going journey. This tour belongs to the Plus-Program and matches activity with comfort. The proud motor yacht Andela Lora is your comfortable home for an amazing week. Tenderly decorated roomy cabins, bathrooms with separate shower, a comfortable sundeck as well as a stylish salon await your visit.
Due to changing wind and weather conditions as well as organizational requirements the tour could be conducted in reverse order.
E-Bike Tour
The riding pace is determined by the cyclists on e-bikes. Guests who are taking part on this tour on a gravel bike should have the necessary physical condition to keep up with this pace. The tours will take us up to a height of 400 to 700 m above sea-level. The day-tours from 18to 36 mi. (30 to 60 km) will take us through hilly and mountainous terrain. Thank you for your understanding.
The ship β Your sailing hotel
In between cycling excursions, you cruise along with the ship, which travels to a new destination every day. You will sleep and have breakfast and 1 or 2 warm meals on board. Depending on the program, this will be lunch or dinner. The other meal is ashore (not included). Itβs possible to spend a day on board if you like. There are rental bikes on board, but you can also bring your own if you mention it when booking.
Individual arrival in OmiΕ‘alj, a nice little harbor village on the island of Krk. If youβre planning to arrive by car, we will organise a safe parking space for you. Check-in on the motor yacht between 2 and 2:30 pm (2027: from 1 pm). At approx. 3 pm the ship takes us to the island of Cres in about four hours. On Cres we take a walk through the Venetian old town in the evening.
After breakfast we start our tour from the city of Cres to MartinΕ‘Δica. The boat awaits your arrival and lunch is served during the cruise to the island of LoΕ‘inj. If the weather is good, the captain will arrange a swim stop along the way before tying off in the harbor wellness town of Mali LoΕ‘inj. The port with its colorful facades and numerous cafes offers its visitors a welcoming atmosphere for a relaxed evening.
We cycle along the seaside promenade to the south of LoΕ‘inj and visit the picturesque small harbor of Veli Losinj before you will meet the ship for lunch. In the afternoon we cross over to the island of Molat, where we can do another short cycling tour. Finally we stay overnight in a quiet harbor of Molat island.
During breakfast the ship leaves Molat and takes us past many small islands to the βspice islandβ of Dugi Otok. Our bike tour starts in the bay of BoΕΎava, which is surrounded by woods of pine, agave and tamarisk trees. We ride on an almost traffic free road. Our ride takes us first to a beautiful viewpoint at the northernmost point of the Island where the old Austrian lighthouse of Veli Rat resides. From here we continue by bike along the island ridge with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding island landscapes all the way to the bay of Savar where the boat awaits us for a cruise to Zadar. Zadar has been the political, cultural and spiritual centre of Dalmatia for centuries. 3000 years of history have left their imprint on the character of this town and there are many things to be admired: the mighty fortified walls with their bastions, the loggia and the early Romanesque St. Donatus Basilica. In the evening our tour guide takes us on an extensive walk through the lively city center.
After a long crossing in the morning we reach the island of Pag. In the harsh but delightful landscape of the island we come across many fig and olive trees. Over the centuries the inhabitants have built numerous stonewalls for protection against the wind. Starting in Novalja we cycle on the narrow peninsula until we reach the sea from where the ship takes you to Rab. The island of Rab is one of the sunniest places in Europe. The town of Rab, the fortified capital of the island, was built in the Middle Ages on a wedge shaped headland, and marks one of the highlights of the trip. The four famous bell towers are the symbol of the adorned beauty of the town. After dinner we can explore the narrow alleys with numerous cozy cafΓ©s.
Today we get to know the charming island of Rab on a lovely ride around the island. At lunchtime the ship awaits us in the harbor directly in front of the old town of Rab. We cruise towards the island of Krk and anchor along the way for a refreshing swim stop from the boat. In the late afternoon we reach the island of Krk where we spend the evening in the historical town of Krk.
We cycle over the ridge of the island, which is covered by fragrant βmacchiaβ to a valley of vineyards and then onwards to the small museum town of Vrbnik in the northeast. The town, built on a 50-meter-high cliff and surrounded by vineyards, is the home of the famous white wine, Ε½lahtina. Another peculiarity that Vrbnik has to offer is the second narrowest alley in the world. The way leads us across the island through old villages and rich vegetation to OmiΕ‘alj. On our way we have a chance to swim in the bay of Soline. A cheerful evening meal on board the boat gives you time to celebrate the success of the week with fellow travelers and tour guides.
After breakfast disembarkation until 9 am. and individual trip home.

βFirst time sailing / biking in the Croatia islands. This is our second Boat Bike Tour. We were sailing on the ββKvarner Bay and Islandsββ tour on the Andela Lora ship. Late July 2024. Technically, apparently this was an ββIslandHoppingββ tour, which Boat Bike Tours recently acquiredβ¦ The ship is a nicer larger ship β 17 cabins and up to 34 people. In late July, this cruise was only half full β 4 English speaking couples β 3 German speaking couples and a local Croatian couple. Turns out this time of year is pretty warm so not as popular perhaps for boating / biking. If we had had all 17 cabins filled, that wouldβve been a bit more crowded on the ship. The rooms on the ship struggled to keep cool during the day and at night with the room A/C units β so some degree of difficulty to fall asleep. Not awful, but definitely noticeβable. The ship crew was friendly, albeit most did not speak with the passengers much. The waiter for each day was also friendly and talked with us β but seemed more ββaloneββ on the ship. Interesting interactions. The two bike tour guides were super funny and approachβable. All of the days announcements were done in the two languages β English and German β which of course wasnβt a big deal at all β but there were definitely ββtwo separate groupsββ on the ship. The meals on the ship were good β served either buffet style or family style. The bar was ββokββ β limited space on the ship / bar area so we often would purchase personal drinks on shore (silly things like ice tea or coke zeroβ¦). Wine was available on the ship for purchase and was good to have at dinner each night. The Adriatic Sea was amazing β crystal clear and not cold at all. Many days ended with a swim off the back of the boat to cool off and relax. I wish they had told us to bring easy small floatation devices so we could float around longer. The bike tours on the islands were very well selected. Most everyone was using an electric assist bike since many of the islands had some big uphills to navigate. Some of the biking was on roads with cars zooming by, but in general the locals knew how to give the bikers space. The islands themselves were fascinating β with little pockets of towns or beach areas for vacationers. This trip avoided most of the really big cities which was very nice. Sometimes we felt like we were just speeding through the country-side and the islands. There were a number of cool spots along the way which we would have liked to have stopped to learn more about them. Course, the two bike guides did say ββstop if you want to stop!ββ. :- ) All in all, a good tour. We would go back for another different Croatia islands tour in the future.β
Thank you for your detailed feedback! We re glad you enjoyed the tour, the bike rides, and the Adriatic Sea. We appreciate your comments on the ship s cooling, crew interaction, and meal variety. Kind regards Boat Bike Tours

We travelled as a group of four Girls. This trip was beyond our expectations, We really had the most amazing trip. We couldnβt have dreamt of anything more perfect. The boat was fabulous, the food delicious and plenty of it it, the staff and organisers where absolutely amazing and very professional. Special thanks to Kristofor, Kreso,Mario & Aron you all worked so hard to make our holiday perfect, thank you so much. We really couldnβt have wished for anymore. Just one negativeβ¦β¦..The bar bill. Wish you had listed the price of a glass of wine, it came as a big shock at the end of the week. We learnt from others when it was too late that we could have paid for a bottle and stored it in your fridge.
We are happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip so much. We really appreciate you taking the time to post such a good review. Best regards, Team Boat Bike Tours
