See all our tours for 2026 and get inspired Start planning your 2026 trip

Imagine travelling through the heart of Europe — from the historic canals of Amsterdam to the medieval elegance of Bruges, and on to the romantic allure of Paris — all as part of one seamless, deluxe experience. In 2026, Boat Bike Tours redefines travel with its most elegant adventure yet: a brand-new flagship tour that combines luxury cruising, scenic cycling, and a comfortable coach connection to the City of Light. And that’s just the beginning. Alongside this premier journey, we’re unveiling more deluxe experiences, expanded routes, and stronger commitments to sustainable cruising.

Amsterdam to Paris: The art of traveling in style

Our most anticipated addition for the upcoming season is a deluxe cycling cruise from Amsterdam to Paris — or vice-versa — aboard the newly-launched superior-class vessel, the Magnifique X. This intimate, all-suite ship redefines what it means to travel by bike and boat. Guests enjoy spacious, beautifully-appointed suites with floor-to-ceiling views; personalized support from three dedicated tour leaders; and the option to take a break from cycling thanks to a comfortable support bus available along the way.

The journey begins and ends with a hotel stay in either Paris or Amsterdam, allowing you to settle in or wind down at your own pace. And for those who wish to extend the experience, optional guided city stays in both capitals offer even more to explore.

What makes this tour truly special, however, is not only its elegance but its origin: it was shaped directly based on feedback from our guests. “This is the next logical step in our evolution,” says Laurens, director of Boat Bike Tours. “We observe that our guests are looking for more comfort, more flexibility, and more immersive experiences. So that’s exactly what we’ve created — a new way to explore Europe that blends freedom with refinement.”

“At the same time, we remain deeply committed to the rest of our fleet. With over 45 ships serving a wide range of budgets and preferences, we’re proud to offer the most diverse collection of boat and bike tours in Europe. Whether guests seek simplicity or indulgence, our mission stays the same: to keep raising the standard across the board, delivering unforgettable experiences on every level. ”

New Tours, Classic Favorites & Even More to Explore

Beyond our new luxury flagship, the 2026 season brings a full menu of fresh and expanded tours across Europe.

15-day slow travel journey from Bruges to the French coast

This tour truly captures the spirit of slow travel: a fifteen-day adventure from Bruges to Abbeville. This extended itinerary is perfect for those who want to take their time, soak in the stories of the land, and experience the landscapes of Flanders and northern France in all their variety.

The journey begins in Bruges, a fairytale of medieval architecture and winding canals, and follows a gentle rhythm through pastoral Flanders and the historic city of Lille — where French elegance meets Flemish charm. Further south, the landscapes grow quieter, but the stories louder: the rolling fields of the Somme whisper of a turbulent past, while Amiens, the city of Jules Verne, welcomes you with its floating gardens and towering Gothic cathedral. You’ll end at the windswept coast near Abbeville, where river meets sea and nature stretches wide to the horizon. It’s a deeply reflective and nourishing kind of travel — and a perfect match for the comfortable intimacy of the Fleur.

Friesland UNESCO Tour on the Magnifique II

Another exciting addition is our UNESCO World Heritage tour through Friesland, created especially for guests who have already fallen in love with our Magnifique ships and are ready for something fresh. This new route invites you to discover the rich cultural heritage and open water landscapes of the Dutch north. Charming harbor towns, quiet bike paths along lakes and canals, and fascinating UNESCO sites make this a tour that’s as enriching as it is relaxing. As Laurens puts it: “So many of our guests return again and again to our Magnifique ships. We wanted to create a completely new experience for them — something that still feels familiar and comfortable, but opens up a whole new corner of the Netherlands.

Tuscany’s Coast Returns

In 2026, we’re also thrilled to bring back the Tuscany coastal tour aboard the Atlantis. Back on the program by popular demand, this tour takes you through the sun-drenched hills and villages of coastal Tuscany, where cypress trees line the horizon, vineyards slope toward the sea, and each day ends with good food, good company, and the gentle motion of the water.

Expanded Rhine, Moselle & Main Routes

For wine lovers and fans of riverside romance, our combined Rhine and Moselle tours on the Arkona have been expanded with more departures and greater variety. These routes are rich with castles, vineyards, and half-timbered towns, where every curve of the river brings a new postcard-worthy view. And if you haven’t yet explored the Main River, now is your chance: our premium ship Princesse Royale will sail more tours between Aschaffenburg and Bamberg, offering a taste of Bavaria’s hidden gems — charming villages, peaceful countryside, and a rhythm that invites you to slow down and savor every moment.

More Tulip Tours in Spring

Spring in Holland is unforgettable — and with more tulip cruises added to our 2026 calendar, there’s even more opportunity to experience the country in full bloom. There’s nothing quite like cycling through a landscape bursting with color, where every field is a painting and the air carries the promise of a new season.

Cruising greener: our sustainability journey

Travel is, at its heart, a celebration — of landscapes, stories, cultures, and connections. But it’s also a responsibility. At Boat Bike Tours, we believe that discovering the world and preserving it should go hand in hand. That is why we continously work on making our tours more sustainable. And we have made some progress along the way:

As of 2025, all our tours that start or end in Amsterdam run on biodiesel — a cleaner, more climate-friendly fuel. It’s a meaningful step forward, and just the beginning. By the end of the year, we aim to 80% of our fleet powered this way. And in 2026, we’re continuing that transition — steadily, purposefully, and in partnership with our travelers.
Because sustainability isn’t just a technical challenge. It’s a mindset. A way of traveling that values not only where we go, but how we get there. Our guests contribute to the effort as well: by, for example, reusing towels or choosing a vegetarian menu. And our guests show this mindset simply by choosing slow travel instead of hopping from place to place. We believe that responsible travel should feel as inspiring as any other travel — and even more rewarding.

Your style, your pace, your journey

At Boat Bike Tours, we’ve always believed that travel should be personal, immersive, and joyful — no matter your style or budget. In 2026, we’re offering more ways than ever to make your journey your own. If you’re after a bit of extra luxury, our new deluxe trips bring the comfort — but skip the stuffiness. If you’re more into authentic adventure, our classic tours still hit all the right notes: fresh air, fascinating places, and plenty of time to stop for coffee. And whatever your pace, our continued efforts toward sustainability mean you can feel even better about the way you travel.

Whether it’s your first time on board or you’re a long-time fan, your dream could look like tulip fields, Tuscan hills, or riverside villages in autumn mist. Wherever it takes you, we’ll be there — with the bikes, the boat, and a warm welcome. Hop on. Europe’s not going to explore itself!
