This one-week Islandhopping tour by e-bike & boat takes you to one of the most scenic regions in Greece. Combining the islands of Sporades, which have become world-famous thanks to Hollywood, with the island of Euboea and the Pelion peninsula, it creates a picture-book vacation week. On the way, you will visit the islands of Skopelos and Skiathos, the most important filming locations from Mamma Mia, but even without Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, the wooded Sporades are simply enchanting. Whether Alonissos, Skopelos, Skiathos or Palaio Trikeri: each of these Aegean islands has its very own character, which is why the entire archipelago impresses with its great diversity. The same applies to Euboea, the second largest island in Greece and the simply breathtaking Pelion peninsula. β¦

This trip is part of our Islandhopping Plus program. The PLUS trips offer our guests a plus of everything that makes an Islandhopping trip unique: a comfortable motor yacht, enough e-bikes on board and little surprises along the way.
The ship β Your sailing hotel
In between cycling excursions, you cruise along with the ship, which travels to a new destination every day. You will sleep and have breakfast and 1 or 2 warm meals on board. Depending on the program, this will be lunch or dinner. The other meal is ashore (not included). Itβs possible to spend a day on board if you like. There are rental E-Bikes on board.
Individual arrival in Skiathos. Check in begins in Skiathos town from 4 pm. Use the afternoon for a stroll through the lively old town of Skiathos, a chilled beverage on the wooded Bourtzi peninsula or a refreshing dip in the sea. Dinner on board and overnight stay in Skiathos.
In the morning, your boat will take you on a long crossing to Alonissos. On the way, you will make a swimming stop in a beautiful bay. Once you arrive in the port of Patitiri, you will go on your first short bike tour on Alonissos in the afternoon, where you can familiarize yourself with your rental bikes. This warm-up tour takes you along quiet roads up to the enchanting old island capital of Palaia Chora, which you then explore on foot. Countless photo opportunities await you in the winding alleyways and you can enjoy the typical Greek island atmosphere during a coffee break in the shady main square. Then make your way back to Patitiri, where you can round off an eventful first day with a delicious dinner in one of the tavernas located right on the beach.
Today you will explore almost the entire island of Alonissos by bike. The island has dedicated itself entirely to ecotourism and inspires with its beautiful nature, fantastic beaches and particularly friendly islanders. The tour takes you from Patitiri to the beach of Chrysi Milia, whose colors are reminiscent of the Caribbean. Here you can swim or enjoy a coffee before continuing towards the fishing villages of Steni Vala and Kalamakia to Agios Dimitrios beach. Along the way, there are wonderful views of the mini-islands off the coast. The route continues onto a high plateau and finally follows a long descent into the bay of Patitiri, where your boat awaits you for lunch. In the afternoon, you will cross over to the neighboring island of Skopelos. The boat trip takes you through the protected marine park, which is home to a colony of the rare Mediterranean monk seal as well as many other animal species. In the evening, you can explore Skopelos town on foot and dine in a restaurant of your choice.
Skopelos has everything you could ask for in a perfect day on the bike: high peaks, jaw-dropping panoramas, evergreen forests, rugged coastline, and amazing beaches. On todayβs tour youβll discover the full spectrum of this stunning islandβs beauty. You set off from Skopelos Town and ride along a panoramic road through dramatic mountain scenery until you reach the harbour at Neo Klima. After a long, relaxing lunch aboard a boat, the afternoon brings a ride out to the lighthouse at Cape Gourouni. En route youβll pass the Perivoliou beach β its wild beauty brings Irelandβs rugged shorelines to mind. Take time out here to plunge into the crystal-clear sea and grab a snack or coffee in a charming beach shack. After this break, you can either pedal straight back to Neo Klima or stretch out your afternoon with a detour to the βMamma Miaβ cliff, where Sophie and Sky said βI doβ in the movieβs little chapel. Overnight in Neo Klima.
Morning crossing to Euboea, the second largest island in Greece. Euboea is much less well-known than its glamorous neighboring islands in the Aegean, although the island is in no way inferior to the others in terms of scenic beauty and cultural diversity. Your ship takes you along the islandβs northern coastline, with a long swim stop along the way, weather permitting, of course. In the afternoon, your cycling tour begins in the small port town of Orei, leading you through fertile coastal plains and traditional mountain villages, offering a glimpse into everyday life in rural Greece. Back in Orei, the nearby sandy beach invites you for another refreshing dip before you wrap up the day with a relaxed dinner at one of the charming tavernas by the harbor.
Your journey continues by boat to the Pelion Peninsula, a region of breathtaking beauty. Alongside Skopelos and Skiathos, Pelion served as one of the main filming locations for Mamma Mia. Todayβs tour begins in the charming fishing port of Agia Kyriaki and takes you past the mountain village of Trikeri, all the way to the bay of Alogoporos. Here, itβs time to give your bike a break and hop on a water taxi to the car-free islet of Palaio Trikeri. This enchanting little island spans just 4.5 square kilometers and is best explored on foot. You can visit the Greek Orthodox Monastery of the Virgin Mary or simply relax and swim at one of the islandβs quiet beaches. Later, the water taxi brings you back to Alogoporos, where your e-bike awaits for the final stretch of the day. Youβll ride back along the coast to Agia Kyriaki, where youβll spend the night.
On your last cycle tour, you can once again look forward to fantastic and varied panoramas. The tour first takes you for 25 km along the beautiful coast of Pelion. Take a coffee break in the harbor town of Milina before tackling the final climb of your journey and finally reaching the port of Platania after a descent through a beautiful forest. Your boat will be waiting for you there and you will cross over to the neighboring island of Skiathos. In the afternoon, a transfer will pick you up from Skiathos town and take you to the monastery of Evangelistria and the picturesque Parissis winery, where you can enjoy not only a fabulous view of the islandβs capital, but also some of the best wins of the Spora islands. Later, over a last delicious dinner on board, you can look back on a vacation week full of experiences in one of the most scenic regions of Greece and say goodbye to your guides and crew.
After breakfast on board, disembarkation and individual journey home or you can extend your vacation in Greece.
