When you see “on request” in the calendar overview on our website, it means that we do not have real-time availability for that specific departure. This typically applies to partner tours, where Boat Bike Tours acts as a “travel agent” rather than the direct tour operator.
If you place a booking “on request,” we will contact our partner to check if the selected cabin is still available. This process can take up to 48 hours. After that, you will either receive a booking confirmation or we will suggest an alternative tour, cabin, or date if the original choice is no longer available.
So, “on request” means your booking is not instantly confirmed but is being checked with the tour operator first.
