I particularly disliked the very frequent breaking of traffic rules. There was a basic disregard for stop signs, red lights. Also, guides were somewhat disorganized and frequently uncertain about the routes and sites. Perhaps their first time for this particular tour??

Great guides, great food. Els, Michiel work very well together and were really helpful when one of our group had an accident and had to be hospitalised. We enjoyed Frank, the chef’s preview of our meals and the meals were very good.

The bike riding was fantastic. very nice being in the canal boat. we really enjoyed the small villages and countryside.

Just completed the Bruge to Paris tour on the Fleur. Very well organised and run. Steffie and her crew kept us well fed and safe along the waterways Guides Marcel and Michiel where expert guides and showed us all the highlights on the 14 day trip, kept us on course and adjusted the day to suit weather etc. very enjoyable.

Everything was up to my expectations. The staff and tour guides were excellent and genuinely interested in providing good service

We had traveled on the Zwaantje in 2016 and wanted to travel with Captain Martijn again and introduced 5 other couples from Minneapolis, Minnesota to the experience. The staff was superb and the meals were exquisite. This is such a wonderful way to travel and see the countries. Thank you to all the crew especially Karin hostess+, Talia chef, and Michiel guide and of course to Captain Martijn. Only complaint were that some bicycles were a little tired.I think if you do switch to all ebikes that will make the experience even better.

Our tour went from Bruges to Paris onboard Fleur. It was an gear experience as we were so well treated by the Captain, the staff and the guide. They all went out of their way to accommodate us. Our chef Thimo prepared the most delicious meals. The daily rides were through some really beautiful landscapes. Our guide was professional, fun and energetic.

Wonderful cycling trip from Bruges to Paris 14 days of glorious weather and cycling. Small group of 20 cyclists which was great to get to know everyone. Frank (the chef) created wonderful dinners every night! The Swaantje had a great crew and a lovely upper sun deck nice for yoga in the morning and a drink after cycling. The crew on this barge were wonderful. We had two great guides Weiger and Andrew who made all the difference to our daily trips. I look forward to sailing with BoatBike Tours again next July 2023!

The Bruges to Paris trip on the Zwaantje is far and away the very best of the 10 or so tours we have taken with Boat Bike Tours. Two weeks, about 30 miles/day for 13 days. Every aspect was spectacular: first of all, the food was nearly Michelin quality. Really! Second, the boat and crew were the friendliest and most efficient ever. The boat itself immaculate, very comfortable and modern. The guides the best in the world: 3 languages, knowledge of local history, patient and good natured, and funny too. All in all, the Zwaantje and the 400 miles of great scenery, history, fun riding were the best, right down to the last riding day on Friday in a triumphant “Pelaton” of average say twenty, 65 year old bicyclists riding into Paris and under the Eiffel Tower and along the Seine.
