This was our fourth tour with B&B Arguably our best. The crew were superb, the meals, both presentation and content delicious. the only negative was our cabin which was definitely the worst we have had, cramped an on the engines. Often one pays a premium to be above decks, given the design of the Ave Maria, this was a mistake. The route was wonderful

He was fun and very knowledgeable about all the sights and history of the places we visited.
All the staff were terrific . Sylvia is an amazing chef and all the meals were perfect.

The crew were fantastic, very efficient but also friendly and all had a great sense of humour. Our tour guide Georgie had us laughing on every ride and entertained us with his jokes and singing l, and his history comments were really interesting. The food was amazing, delicious, plentiful and great quality. We met so many lovely people and looked after each other on the rides. We saw a great variety of the beautiful Po river countryside and had two amazing sea swims. Venice was an amazing end to the tour. Fantastico!

The crew worked so hard to fix a waste disposal issue! It was soooo hot…I don’t think that the leaders had a plan if a rider was to experience heat stroke. The routes weren’t that interesting- a lot of shadeless levee riding. The Ride GPS app was barely mentioned – though I find it really useful. Newbies could have used some e-bike training.

The passengers were great and the Ave Maria was very comfortable.

Despite blistering hot and humid days with little shade, I enjoyed this trip from Venice to Mantua very much. What put it over the top were the delicious meals prepared by Chefs Dani and Franceso. They used fresh, local products in unique combinations. Each day was well organized with periodic stops for coffee, points of interest and interesting lectures on history and culture by Hein. The riding itself was a mixed bag with bike paths, busy city/town streets, highways and gravel paths. It made for some quite challenging rides. All in all, the friendliness of Captain Jano and his crew really added to the overall enjoyment of this trip. I recommend it.

The crew and guides were great. Bikes were in great shape and the guides were attentive to access how each rider was managing. Food was wonderful. Nice size group as well. Not too big. Boat was very nicely remodeled and very clean. Rooftop deck was a favourite for the group to hang out together after tge days ride.
