The crew was wonderful; the guides and Goldy especially, as they were who we mainly interacted with. Everything was well-explained regarding our day s ride and consideration was taken for the various levels of riders. The food was good, if a bit salty for my taste, but the coffee wasn t very good. The cappuccino machine was broken and I know we were the last trip, so fixing it at that point didn t make sense, but just saying. All in all, I loved my experience and would/will book another trip with you. Thanks!

excellent guides good knowledge of bicycle repair

I was over whelmed, with the whole experience, food excellent Guide,s were surpurb , friendly helpfully, and careing, went out off their way to make sure you were enjoying the experience. The barge was fantastic bedroom were great ,

Far exceeded my expectations. The boat (Thalassa) was an outstanding vessel with comfort and old world charm. The food was authentic and delicious. The crew was very professional and the bike tour guides Isabel and Dionysius were fantastic. We totally enjoyed ourselves and we would absolutely recommend this tour. My only question is how soon can I book the next one? Yamas! =ØÞ

Everything was wonderful!

This was the second Boat/Bike tour I have been on and I was very satisfied with most everything that I experienced. The cycling tour was great – the difficulty level was as advertised and the route took us through very beautiful countryside. The maps and directions were very easy to follow. I would have liked more specific information about some of the possible sites to explore in the different towns. While they were mentioned as possible stops, we didn’t really get directions on how to access them. The food on board the boat was wonderful – breakfasts included a good variety of options and the dinner meals were delicious! The staff were very friendly and always willing to help out and answer questions. All in all, a great experience I would definitely recommend!

My wife and I had a wonderful week. Hugo the guide was exceptional. He had tremendous knowledge of the area weaving through small towns and vineyards. Added to this was his grasp of the historic background of the towns, castles, roman ruins, other sites we visited coupled with his knowledge of the historical figures. The food on the boat met all of our expectations, it was simply very good. This was a winner. (One additional note. There are a few relative short steep climbs on multiple days. The literature should encourage casual riders to consider an e bike to make these climbs easier.)

The Captain and crew were absolutely wonderful. The bike tour itself was not quite a picturesque as we expected. There were times when cycling in and around vehicular traffic was uncomfortable. The ship is fabulously maintained, clean and beautiful.

The tour was well organized and professionally run. The boat (The Fleur) is not super fancy but it is clean, comfortable and homey. The food was excellent and the staff made an effort to be warm and went out of their way to create an atmosphere of camaraderie among the guests. Everyone on our tour used e-bikes, but the route would have been doable without electric assist for anyone in moderately good shape. As the cabins are below water level the atmosphere was slightly damp (it was also fall, maybe not an issue in the summer) and this made it impossible to dry wet garments below decks and some guest had trouble with allergies. As this was a fully guided tour it was sometimes difficult to have any independent experiences. I had never been on a group ride before and found it frustrating not to be able to stop if I wanted a drink of water or to take a photo. It was also stressful riding as a unit; crossing traffic en mass and keeping the exact pace of the group at all times. If you love the fun of having friends to ride with, you will enjoy, but personally I will pick a self guided tour in the future so I can enjoy the actual riding part of the trip. I would definitely recommend this tour company to friends and family. It was a really good value for the money and they run their business well.

Nice boat, beautiful route.

Fabulous way to experience Belgium and The Netherlands. Touring these countries lead by Boat and Bikes fun and knowledgable guides made this a truly memorable trip. The boat was like a 5 star hotel with great rooms, excellent staff and delicious food!
