Fabulous bike tour with an experienced and knowledgeable leader. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinners by the chef who always delivers a short presentation on what the food was and how it relates to The Netherlands. Great crew who worked to make everything easy, pleasant and safe. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Super durchorganisiert, kompetente und nette Reiseleitung. Das Schiff gemütlich, das Essen sehr lecker. Wir fühlten uns wie in einer grossen, liebenswerten Familie. Die Radtouren waren mit interessanten Stops durchsetzt, es wurde nicht langweilig. Die abendlichen Stadtspaziergänge mit der Reiseleitung waren ein tolles Extra.

Superb guides and crew who worked together to make sure everyone could have their very best time. The boat was extremely well equipped with a comfortable lounge, lovely hot showers and a well stocked bar. The food was excellent and abundant and food preferences were taken fully into consideration. My vegetarian options being as delicious as the other options. Providing a lunch box each morning for us to make our own packed lunch from the breakfast buffet, and bar snacks for our post cycle return to the boat meant nobody had to go hungry. Everything was super clean. The trips and interspersed refreshment stops were well thought out and meant that inexperienced cyclists like me were not daunted by the distances. The evening city tours were interesting and the guides were knowledgeable and eager to tell us about their country. Flexibility was the key word for the week and when the weather was too windy to cycle or bridges stopped us going where we needed to the guides were quick to replan. This meant we enjoyed watching a cheese auction in addition to the planned excursions. I cannot speak more highly of my experience and have sent the details to many of my work mates. One piece of advice, if you have to ask yourself “Can I do this on a normal bike or would an e-bike be better?” …then hire an e-bike, the wind can be strong and a flat ride can feel like going up a hill on occasions.

Excellent food, guides, bikes, trails, accommodations.

We registered to a tour on this website and received a confirmation number for it right away. Good thing that they didn’t ask for a down payment. It took 24 hours to received an email to let us know that it would take 48 hours to have a confirmation. We chatted with the website to confirm the 48 hours period. We chatted again after 4 days (96 hours), but even if it was during daytime hours, the chat responded that they were not available. It’s now more than 1 week and haven’t receive any respond from them. Update: After posting my review, we received an email with a delay explanation that they switched to a new payment system. So we have booked the tour and we’ll see how it goes. I’ll keep you updated :)

We traveled as a couple on this tour. The fact that we knew no one was not an issue as the tour guide and crew made it a very welcoming and inclusive experience. Our tour guide was an amazing person. She was a lot of fun. She had researched her area and was extremely knowledgeable. She made everything engaging and her instructions were always clear. She was Italian and her French and English was great, so her skills as an interpreter were excellent. The boat staff were always helpful and friendly. The food was plentiful and of a good quality. When feedback was given about the need for salad it was taken on board immediately. The bikes were well maintained and great to ride. Equipment generally was very well organised. Our cabin was a double, which was tight but… it’s a boat. The living area upstairs was lovely so that compensated more than adequately. The itinerary was an excellent one. Our trip was from Avignon to Agues Morte. It seems this is the best option, it certainly worked well for us. I would thoroughly recommend this company to others.

My wife and I were on a week long sailing & biking trip aboard the Elizabeth which surpassed our expectations. We attribute this foremost to the crew, and then to our fellow passengers whom we sailed with. The crew on this sailing were kind and accommodating – each doing their jobs well and going above and beyond, helping to make our time aboard the ship enjoyable and memorable. It is, of course, total luck of the draw as to whom our fellow passengers would be, and we were indeed very lucky, as we enjoyed sailing and biking with some very nice people. The bikes provided were of decent quality, and the ships crew had our bikes lined up and ready to go at each port. We thoroughly enjoyed the trails and the scenery of the places we biked throughout the Netherlands, before returning to our ship in the afternoon. Our room onboard the Elizabeth was spacious enough, and well kept and clean. The meals and snacks prepared by the chef were a delight, and our time sailing on the Elizabeth was a joy. We hope to join Boat & Bike Tours for another adventure in the future.

Our third trip after Bordeaux & the Moselle in previous years. Zwaantje from Moret to Auxerre. We had a double cabin which is a bit squeezy. I would recommend the twin cabins for that reason. The trip was excellent and the food outstanding. The team were by far the best we have come across and everyone agreed we were well looked after by both the crew and the outstanding bike guides: Monique and Weiger … All from Holland apart from our happy barmaid and waitress from Belgium. Thoroughly recommend this trip.

Our boat bike trip in Northern Burgundy France from Moret sur Loing to Auxerre was great! The two guides and the boat crew were all personable, friendly, knowledgeable and they worked hard to make our trip enjoyable and worry free. The bicycle riding was for the most part along the river and through medieval towns, with some riding through the countryside. We appreciated that we were able to chose a shorter or longer distance to ride each day, and that a guide accompanied us on the ride. The food on the boat was excellent – the nightly dinners were delicious and varied. The boat was comfortable – we liked the small size (12 guest cabins), and appreciated that there was a/c in the cabins and the dining/lounge room as temperatures were in the 30s during the week of our trip. We highly recommend this boat/bike tour, and will consider going on another tour in the future with Boat Bike Tours.
