The tour was well organised. Our tour guides Hugo and Aridina were a fantastic team that took care of all aspects such as the bikes, checking all passengers were happy while cycling. Hugo went the extra mile and recorded our trip on his phone, how he did it we don’t know. We watched the film on our last day and it was fantastic. The food was really of a high standard and we looked forward to breakfast and dinner. The room was a little tight but we managed very well. The group we travelled with became our friends by the end of the trip – it really made the trip so much easier and more fun being surrounded by so many great people. A most enjoyable trip along the Mosel from Cochem to Metz.

This was our first boat and bike trip ever. It was a great experience and we will likely gather a few others and do another. The guide was excellent, the food was very good, the skipper and crew were great. Everything went as planned and we not only enjoyed the riding through The Neterlands, we learned alot. The other riders were friendly and engaging. Our only hiccup was finding the boat in Maastricht. If you are looking for a luxury cruiser, the Gandolf is not that. If you prefer a small group with a wonderful crew, good food and a boat with character, this is your boat.

This was a great trip. The barge was clean and reasonably updated. The dinner food was very nice and breakfast buffet was quite extensive. I would suggest to extend breakfast until 9am if possible. It s nice to have the option to sleep in after long bike rides. I was glad to have reserved the e-bike as there were hilly and windy days. The daily briefings about the next day s ride were detailed as were the path guidelines. Each days ride was varied enough, forests, fields, canals, dams and of course the beautiful Hansa towns we visited daily. The staff was wonderful, polite, friendly and helpful. I totally enjoyed this and have already recommended it to friends. I m thinking about next year already. Thank you

This was an excellent trip. The staff were always positive, efficient and helpful; the magnificent ship was comfortable; the food was plentiful and tasty; and both short and longer cycling routes, provided on Ride GPS, were very good.

Overall just a great way to explore a part of the Netherlands. Friendly and helpful staff, good food and overall a wonderful experience.

Great holiday with great staff, great food, great boat, great routes, great guides what more could you ask.

All the crew and our guides did an excellent job looking after our accommodation, bikes and keeping us well-fed with outstanding meals! Our bike rides were well-planned and enabled us to make the most of seeing the most interesting sites on our route! Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable about the culture and history in each country we visited.

We were extremely impressed with the quality, luxury and excellent crew of the Magnifique II. Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy the entire experience because we had a serious health emergency which made it necessary to abandon the tour. We were so disappointed, and hope to be able to try the tour again in the future. We would like to extend our most sincere thanks and appreciation to Captain Michael and his crew for the professional yet caring and compassionate way they offered their support. Special thanks to Andre our bike leader who was instrumental in getting the medical care we needed quickly. We will never forget any of you!!

The Hansa Highlights was my first Boat Bike trip and it will definitely not be my last. Everything on board the Magnifique II from the accommodations, the crew, the food, the guides and bikes exceeded my expectations. Having worked in the private yacht industry I understand how much effort is made by the entire crew to make a charter work seamlessly. Kudos to all. See you in 2024! Grazie mille, Margaret

The boat bike tour on the Gandalf was excellent! Our guide, Mihael and the rest of the crew were super professional while at the same time made us feel so at home. Our group was truly a community as the tour continued. The food was amazing, you just have to trust me! It s very comfortable on the boat and the staff does everything to make you feel welcome. There were many side trips and excursions in the little towns that we really enjoyed. The tour inside of a windmill was a highlight! We really loved this tour and we have done other bike tours in the US and in Europe. Hans is quite a wonderful host and Girard, the skipper is fun to talk to and even let some guests drive the boat!
