Where do I begin to describe this wonderful experience..From the time I arrived to board the boat and bike tour I was met with friendly efficient hosts and hostesses that took care of nearly all my needs..They took my luggage to my room to allow me the pleasure of registering and looking around the boat…The registration was straight forward without any trouble, there was a welcoming afternoon drink/coffee in a very well appointed lounge with an informative welcome/introduction/instructions seminar… The room was large with double beds and a large porthole window, a large complete bathroom on the lowest deck. The boat had just undergone a lovely refit recently with all the trimmings of a classy boat/bike barge… The food was extraordinary in it’s variety and content..Utterly no complaints about the food! The dining room staff were also attentive and friendly.. The tour guides were friendly and approachable. The bike routes were well laid out and took us through the most beautiful parts of Holland. The food was amazing. The only change to suggest is the addition of face cloths in the rooms along with the bath towels and hand towels.

The crew was all exceptional, from hostess Monique, who kept all things tip-top, to Gert the chef with a great variety of good tasting foods, to our tour guides, Wil and Ester. They shared their knowledge of the areas we travels to make the journey more interesting. Seeing a different culture was very enjoyable. Our room was comfortable.

I am not a biker but I wanted to see the whole river, and particularly the locks, in daylight which is not possible on most river cruises. Everything met my hopes and expectations. The only downside was that we were not able to moor near the town centre at two places which made on-shore excursions somewhat less convenient. The crew were efficient and friendly and the food was excellent, particularly at lunch-time when I was often the only passenger on board. They all took a lot of trouble to look after their only English guest.

Our week was a memory I will treasure forever. The crew was extra special (Berthus, Jonne and Christiana). Each of them made sure our trip was extra special. Jonne, the ship’s chef, made the most delicious food. We looked forward to every meal! Jonne surprised 3 guests with birthday cakes and a retirement cake. So thoughtful! The cabins were comfy and quiet. Loved sitting on the deck with a cup of coffee. I would definitely book this trip again.

Leslie did a great job in instructing us where to go on our next days bike trip. His many guiding stickers were very helpful! It was nice to be seated with someone from another country, at our table, but someone who spoke our same language. The boat was very comfortable with lots of room to unpack. The entire crew was helpful, friendly and worked tirelessly to give us a great experience.

Not only was Croatia beautiful but, we loved our crew, guides and other passengers. It was a fantastic trip!!!

I was disappointed with the food on this trip. Everything was over salted. We tried to communicate this through our guide on the second day, but there was no improvement. Many of the meals were huge portions of meat, much of it wasted. Overcooked vegetables and pasta served twice in one meal was very unappealing. The salad was the same at every meal as was the breakfast. No creativity. With all the beautiful fruits and vegetables native to the region, none were on our boat.
