Our tour was provided by Island Hopping and the ship was great and the hybrid and e-bikes were in good shape and easy to ride.

Everything was so well done The boat was great as were the meals the tours were well thought out and took us through some beautiful countryside

The boat and rooms were comfortable and clean. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was very good. The bike routes were scenic and mostly enjoyable and the bikes were in good working condition and comfortable. The one criticism I have is that one of the tour guides got off track more than once. It was her first time leading the trip and she did not use the GPS, which would have been helpful. The other bike tour guide knew his way around, but did not necessarily find or know of comfortable places (with seating and restrooms) to stop at for eating our bag lunches. The 3rd bike staff was supposed to be a “sweeper” (i.e. to bring up the rear and make sure no one got left behind). But I was left behind following a stop, despite letting the sweeper know I was lining up to use the WC. I felt a bit panicky when I came out and the group was gone. Fortunately, some of the self guided bike group were present at the same stop, saw which way my group had gone, and pointed me in the right direction.

The locations, ship, meals, and staff were amazing. The only complaint would be a need for better organization and communication around the daily cycling routes. The guides did get lost and occasionally wasted time going back and forth over routes already taken. A better GPS app and use of cell phone communication could be beneficial.

I had a lot of fun on this boat bike trip (Maastricht to Amsterdam). The guide was upbeat and the short stops on the daily rides were interesting and enjoyable. However the guide seemed disorganized and I found most of the meals rather disappointing. If I go on another trip with this company, I will choose a premium tour.

My sister & I had a fantastic time! The bike routes were interesting & dynamic, but also felt safe for our group ride. The tour guide was informative & enthusiastic – we learned so much about the places we visited! The riverboat was comfortable, clean, welcoming, with plenty of space for the number of passengers. The meals were delicious & plentiful. Every aspect of the week was just wonderful.

The food, guides, chef, and crew made this tour excellent. We really liked the surprise excursions and our guide Geert knew everything about art and history at every French locale.

My husband and I come from Ireland and we enjoyed the hospitality of the Flora crew, the last week of August 2023 on the river Moselle. This was our 10th trip with Boat Bike Tours and our second on the Flora ship. We find the Flora crew of 3, very helpful and friendly. The ship is home from home, nothing is too much trouble for either Captain Berthus, his wife Chef Jonne or first mate Christiana. The food, which is prepared fresh, is amazing and delicious. We did not cycle with the guide and group as we had done this tour previously and were happy to make our own way to each destination. We had a great week and we intend returning to the Flora next year again as we consider the Flora is the Jewel in the Crown of Boat Bike Tours.

Our family group of 18 ranged in age from 10 to 80 and it was a trip of a lifetime. The Magnifique II was as lovely as it was when we last sailed on it in 2015. The chef, and all crew were welcoming and helpful. The food was amazing and the surprise anniversary cake celebration on the last night was deeply appreciated. Loved the cycling through beautiful Belgium and the Netherlands.
