the boat was the perfect size only 10 cabins. The captain was excellent. The Chef (Agnes) was amazing. The mate (John), and hostess (Stanislavia)(?) were excellent. All professional, friendly, and welcoming. Bikes were good, we had pedal bikes, but friends with e-bikes were happy as well.. Food was excellent. Beds were comfortable. Guide Francine was simply amazing. She knows the country well and has many stories and much information to share. Rides were good pace.

Great value for your dollars. The variety of biking trails into the countryside and small villages were awesome! The walking tours into the cities/towns in the evening were very informative and highlighted their historical importance as well. The service on the Barge, Fleur was exceptional! The breakfast buffet and evening dinners were outstanding! Plenty of options for packing a lunch each day. I would highly recommend this Bike-Barge Tour.

My wife and I enjoyed the Southern Holland tour hosted by Boat/Bike Tours. We found the guides, boat crew, and staff were excellent and worked diligently to make our tour enjoyable. The accommodations are very comfortable and the food is excellent. Biking in Holland is a joy. However, for those who are not familiar with the biking culture in the Netherlands, be sure to listen carefully to the orientations! You will notice that biking is serious in Holland. Pay attention so you make as few mistakes as possible. One great tip we learned is to be sure to stop at any cafe where you see bicyclists. The always know the best stops. We had first thought to design our own tour but we discovered this outfit and realized that there was no way we could tour as efficiently by ourselves. The price is excellent for all that is provided. Best wishes as you bike!

Not one to give praise lightly, I have just taken my second Dutch Boat Bike tour, Hanseatic then Wadden Sea, it was nothing short of incredible enjoyment and great value. Crew were superb etc etc ! Boat Bike are first rate to deal with !

Great trip! We had all the comforts of home while we experienced the many beautiful things of the country.

We just completed the North South Holland Bike Tour and it was FANTASTIC. The Flora far exceeded our expectations. Bertus and Jonne were wonderful and went above and beyond to ensure all passengers had a wonderful experience. The boat is beautiful and accommodations were great and very comfy. The meals were delicious and they accommodated special meals too. Jonne also cooked recipes from her family which she explained each evening making the meal even more special. This was our first bicycle adventure and it was perfect. All levels of cyclists are in each group. The guides on our trip were very knowledgeable and welcoming. Thank you for a great experience.

We enjoyed a wonderful week biking from Bruges to Amsterdam with a group of 14 friends. This was a long awaited adventure as we originally were to take this trip in 2020. We hit the season perfectly (end of April/beginning of May) as trees were in full bloom as were the lilacs, wisteria, rhododendron… the countryside was spectacular. Our guides, Arnold and Marie Jose were excellent. Knowledgeable and great communicators, they shared history and interesting facts all along the journey. They cared for our safety at all times. The food onboard was delicious although breakfast was repetitive. Initially they assigned seating (not entirely sure why) but as a group we wanted to sit together so took that on ourselves. Not sure if that was appreciated. The cabins on the boat were compact and cleaned daily. The bikes were in good repair and if there was an issue it was attended to promptly by a team member. It would have been helpful for them to take a bit more time on the first day to adjust the bikes to the participants to be sure everyone was comfortable and ready. All in all a wonderful, memorable trip. Would highly recommend it. We were so glad to be able to do it after waiting two years!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our 8 day tulip tour on the Sarah. The crew was attentive to our every need and the meals from our chef Agnes were Fantastic! Our guide Hetty made each ride easy to follow and each evening walk an informative bonus. This trip on a small barge exceeded our expectations and we would definitely recommend it to others.

We had a fantastic time aboard the Fleur for the Tulip Tour with Jens and Marleen as our guides. Many of the boat crew were delightful, and the food was excellent. If there were any issues on the ship, the crew were quick to address them. The group of passengers on our boat were all very nice and a quick camaraderie was formed between us all. The bike tour itself was outstanding. We opted for regular bikes, but many on our boat had e-bikes. The Dutch mountains (fierce headwinds) did make an appearance on couple of occasions, but we managed the week without electric assist. I will say there were some older folks (70+) on our boat who also had non-electric bikes and they managed, but wished they had opted for the e-bikes by the end of the week. We traveled in many different sized groups throughout the week and the level of care the guides took to make sure everyone was informed and looked after was above and beyond. There were numerous other boats doing the same tour routes as us, so it was great to get to meet those crews, passengers, and guides as well. Every night our guides offered a walking tour of each city we were docked in, and we even received a history lesson on the reclaimed lands from Marleen, our guide, whose family has lived there for quite some time. This was our first experience traveling like this and we were not let down in any way. I am looking forward to our next adventure with Boat Bike Tours.
