Well organised daily rides. Good food. Pleasant company. Staff friendly and helpful. The bikes were in good condition. Cabins clean and spacious. Overall good value for money

My husband and I + a group of 14 friends (total 16 of us) travelled on the Flora ship. The ship was extremely clean, beds were super comfortable, shower had good water pressure and was hot. The common area was small but enough to accommodate all of the 22 passengers. The Captain, the host (his wife) and one helper were extremely accommodating and measure no efforts to please us. The food was plenty, had lots of variety and was amazingly presented. We had breakfast, a box provided for us to do our own lunch, a snack when we came back from the bike ride and a 3 course dinner. Coffee and tea were available all the time and a cash bar was also available. The ship was well kept and showed the love the crew has for her. The bikes were new and in very good condition. Panniers were provided which had enough space to carry our box lunch and some extra layers of clothing Wilmie our guide!!! Beyond any good review. She was FANTASTIC! she had to do a lot of adaptations to our route due to some bridge problems and she spent her evenings preparing for our next day route. She made sure we were all able to complete our rides and would take interest on each one of us. She showed us amazing places. The route had a lot of variety and plenty of stops at good cafés I would recommend this trip to anybody with reasonable level of fitness and flexibility for changes. This was not a sports trip. The pace is leisure …it is a vacation It was a memorable vacation

we flew in from USA, so I booked a back to back tour that was available for us. great choice of NORTH/SOUTH Amsterdam towns!

The boat was very clean and our room was clean and very well organized. Staff were very friendly and attentive to any needs. The food was very good and well presented. The tour was easy to follow and gave options for length of the cycle. It was a great experience! Thank you.

Booking with Bike Boat Tours was simple, they were very responsive with any questions. Our week on the barge was as described, and we enjoyed it very much. The staff onboard were helpful and efficient. The 2 bike tour guides were available and helpful during the day, they were out biking the route should anyone run into trouble (ours was a self-guided biking tour). The GPS App for the biking routes was great, although there were a few glitches. We were also given good maps with the biking junction points, which allowed us to easily customize our cycling route (if/when we wanted to). Would definitely recommend renting an ebike so to enjoy the biking, and not have to be out of breath in the hilly areas, and on the windy days. Although the breakfasts and lunches were good, there was not much variation from day to day. Dinner was good, but not amazing. There were main course options of fish, meat or veggie main course for dinner each evening…which would be chosen each evening for the following day. We would have preferred to not have to sit with the same people for breakfast and dinner everyday. Perhaps another system could be put in place, that guests could choose where to sit…yet the servers could easily see which meal each guest had ordered.

The staff were amazing. Special shout out to the Hotel Manager, Dave. He arranged for flowers for my wife on our 40th wedding anniversary. The food and beverages were great.

The boat was great – we had a lower berth and it had quite big windowss and we were only a foot above the water and we loved it . Food was excellent , staff friendly and helpful . The bike tours worked well – “travelling on our own” – through a great variety of routes . Price was reasonable . How much better can it get !!

This is our third bike and boat tour. As always we found excellent value and adventure. This was a small group of around 21 people. We much prefer the small groups even though the cabins are smaller. There is plenty of space on deck and inside for leisure activities. We must say that the crew was outstanding. Our guide, Hein, was very funny as well as knowledgeable about the area. He was always very positive and supportive despite some terrible weather. We experienced tremendous winds and some rain. He definitely made our rides memorable. Sara, our chef, was amazing. Every meal was so interesting and delicious. Nothing was ever left on our plates. She was creative and artistic and charming. Rafael, our crew, was the best. He was always available to help with any issue. He was so friendly. We’ve never met a friendlier crew member. They’re usually just too busy to socialize, but Rafael always made himself available. Unfortunately, we didn’t get to know our captain-totally our fault as we don’t speak French. But the entire crew was wonderful. It didn’t hurt that this group of passengers was great; Safe bike riders, prompt and very sociable. We will definitely choose another bike and boat/barge for our next holiday. We’re thinking about Italy next.

I could not fault our experience on the Swiss Crown. Our cabin on the middle level was comfortable, food was excellent, the staff very friendly and efficient, nothing too much trouble. We were disappointed that we did not get to the Iron Gates due to weather conditions and apparently that is not uncommon. We enjoyed the cycle riding although a lot of the time there was not a lot to see apart from trees and grass. The last day was by far the best riding through picturesque villages and vineyards with lots to see. But unfortunately it was a day when we would have liked more time as we had to be back on the boat by 3pm. Also the ride briefing was in the morning rather than the night before so we could not leave straight after breakfast. Other days we had longer time on less interesting rides. However we did enjoy the whole experience but would not choose to do that particular route again. There was a lot more riding on roads (sometimes busy) than we were expecting.
