Very fun and interesting tour. Love the small size group. Enjoyed the bicycle rides through the country and small villages.

We were 18 family and friends on the Caprice beginning our trip May 7. Our week in Provence was wonderful. The barge was clean and comfortable. Our guide, Melanie, excellent. Our chef, Josef, was fantastic: great varied gourmet meals made from fresh ingredients from markets along the way. Our Captain, Pierre, kept us safe. We enjoyed the bicycling through the countryside and medieval towns with many stops for coffee, lunch or to explore the history. When we returned to the barge late afternoon, a snack would be ready. We enjoyed the option every evening after dinner to take a walk with Melanie through the towns we were docked in. Just a completely perfect trip!

We had a exceptional experience. The crew was amazing. The meals delightful. The tour leader experienced and charming. The quality of the experience cycling through the countryside and small villages – the bird song, animals, landscapes and scents – pleasantly surprised this non-cycler.

Amazing trip . The cruise director Leslie was the best as were all the crew . I couldn’t fault anything on board the ship or the cycle routes . My only criticism is the lack of information about where the ship was departing from in Passau , we spent a couple of hours trying to find where the ship would be docked . Thankfully , one of the hoteliers ordered a taxi for us to take us to the winter dock about 10 min drive . Other than that , the food, package lunches , drinks and entertainment were all perfect . We will certainly try another trip on one of the other tours .

We were a group of 10 friends 55+ We had the most wonderful holiday ever. The boat and staff were excellent. Leslie our director organized all our days so well with care and humour We cycled 200 km and it was the right amount not to much, not to little. We visit beautiful cities and the concert in Vienna was the top. The food was very good and the evening we party and danced a lot We will certainly be back you do a great job Thank you so so much

What a wonderful holiday. An excellent mix of good food, lovely country scenery, city sightseeing and cycling. The bedrooms were comfortable and the housekeeping was good. Ventilation in the dining room could have been better but this was not enough to lower the star rating. Thank you to Leslie and his team for such a great experience.

The tour was great. The crew and the service provided were very excellent. The guided route was beautiful and scenic. The bicycle and the support were adequate. The only complaint I have was the cabin being too dark and cramped. My overall experience with boatbike tour was very positive. If the opportunity avails, I will book another tour with them.

Well organized, beautiful scenery, comfortable accommodations, friendly and interesting staff and terrific food. One person in our group described the trip as “absolutely the best trip of my life.” Would HIGHLY recommend.
