Zwaantje – The absolute best! Both the boat and crew were phenomenal. Martyn, Karin, Yoke and Frank could not have been more friendly and made you feel so welcomed and comfortable. The meals were delicious. Biking Guides great as well! This was my first boat and bike tour and I and others that went on the April 15th Premium Tulip Tour are planning another trip on the Zwaantje again!

This tulip bike/barge trip was truly wonderful. The fields of flowers and the Keukenhof Gardens were just other worldly. Our barge staff were professional, friendly, and welcoming. The guide was experienced, well organized and fun. The barge is tight, but well organized and adequate. Rural Holland is beautiful and bucolic, but in early spring it will be cold and windy with intermittent rain. When you plan this trip bring cold weather biking kit. I used an electric bike; even if you feel fit and are an experienced biker, use an electric bike anyway (the wind is seriously strong).

The captain and crew were wonderful. The food was amazing and the biking was perfect. This trip more than exceeded our expectations and we would like to book a similar excursion with the same group in the future.

My first time joining a biking tour on a sailing boat. I enjoyed biking on flat country road, cycle path in park and going through towns with less traffic. Seeing fields of flower beds is very enjoyable. The service of the lovely and friendly crew of Leafde fan Fryslan made the boat a home for us away from home. I especially like the food provided by chef Petr. I enjoyed the different varieties of fruit at breakfast and international cuisine as well the presentation.

This was my second bike tour with this company and hope to travel with them again. The bikes were quality and easy to ride. Helmets and panniers were provided. The food was excellent and plentiful. Thanks especially for the black licorice! Guides and crew were pleasant and helpful. I really only have positive things to say and have recommended this tour to many people.

The crew in this boat-bike tour made all the difference. Positive attitude, competent, accommodating and helpful are the qualities that first come to mind. Facilities are adequate with old-fashioned charm, and the equipment (bicycles) very functional for the trip length. I’m very happy with the experience.

Everything was well planned and the crew worked hard everyday to make the itinerary perfect. Food was great, lodging was perfect with comfortable beds, biking trips were planned well to fit the group. Tulips, the boat, and the bicycling…our vacation was wonderful!

Happiness is a trip on the Zwaantje. The crew and boat makes it special and exciting in every way. They take care of everything! The bikes are well maintained as is the boat. The food is delicious and plentiful. All of the rides were well paced and balanced with information about the sights and history and culture of the Dutch people. All of the crew had a delightful sense of humor and were responsive to my every need.I am a neophyte on a e-bike so I appreciated all the extra attention. The captain truly cares about each and every passenger and his amazing crew. The result is a fantastic experience that I will never forget.

We cannot say enough about our wonderful bike boat tour that we did to see tulips, and the Netherlands. The board of self was beautiful. We appreciated that it wasn’t a large ship. We got to know other passengers on the ship easily by having meals together. The crew is fantastic. The meals were great, and it felt like an overall well run operation. I especially want to call out. Andre and Corrie were our bike tour guides. They were kind and friendly, helpful and very knowledgeable of the areas we were traveling through places we need to stop and how to keep us all on schedule. As a photographer, I especially appreciated the fact that they made a special effort to allow us to stop and take pictures from time to time of the beautiful blooming flower fields. My wife and I highly recommend bike, boat tours, and hope to do another adventure with them in the future.
