We just returned from a boat & bike tour along with Mosel River, starting in Metz and ending in Cochem. It was absolutely marvellous! I was the main organizer and got friends and friends of friends together. We were 31 in total. From the service to the food to the biking tours and explanations, it was superb in every sense of the word! I would highly recommend. This was my second trip with Boat Bike Tours (we did Bruges-Amsterdam). I highly recommend this tour company, very professional and customer oriented. Marc Germain, Montreal, Canada

This was a first for me. Enjoyed every minute. Comfortable room, impeccable cleanliness, great food (it was a premium tour). The two guides (André and Anneke) were knowledgeable, super nice and always helpful. We will definitely repeat experience with this company.

Very good experience

Our second holiday with the company. This time on the Mosel. Everything was perfect. Well planned and great fun. The staff are exceptional.

We enjoyed a wonderful week biking through southern Holland with the Boat/bike tour. Even though the weather was a bit rainy the first day, we were encouraged to ride the short ride and supported by the staff. We are so glad that we decided to ride. Every day was a new adventure with great rides through small Dutch towns, windmills, beautiful rolling countryside, and stopping and enjoying the sights.

5 stars all the way! The rooms are beautifully appointed and roomy; great heated towel rack; strong shower pressure was a nice surprise and even a decent closet with shelves – plenty of room for clothes. The food was delicious and varied each day, with standards for breakfast which is nice for a yogurt and fruit person. I loved that at breakfast we prepared our own lunches and are on the ride in really interesting places. The bikes were in great shape and easy to handle. We had the assist (ebike) and only used it for high winds and those very short, steep bridges over canals but it was really nice to have the option when you’re just plain tired after a long day. I highly recommend getting one. The guides and entire crew…perfection! Friendly and fun and interesting and full of useful information about the areas we biked or ‘parked’ for the night. A few of us are ready to sign up for another tour with them in another area of Europe. Communication with the company was very good during the confusing ‘do we-don’t we go?’ question that was ever present for 3 yrs. We waited and they agreed and it turned out perfect!

This trip has been in the making for several years. We had originally wanted a September 2019 departure date. (Un) or may be fortunately, the date and boat we wanted was sold out so we scheduled it for early September 2020 adding several of our friends to the “ride”. We named the group with the first two letters of our last names, AKA the Portland Gang. due to the pandemic, we rescheduled twice and eventually embarked in the best adventure one could hope. The accommodations were top notch. we couldn’t have asked for a better crew. Everyone of them! Congratulations to management for putting together such outstanding people, and such a great program.

I thought the bike leader was burned out and not very motivating or interested in helping with properly fitting the bikes. The bike routes through the towns were very dangerous with crowds and the fact there was only one bike leader for 17 riders is irresponsible. Your guests should not be asked to sweep the riders. Not familiar with European traffic, signs and the road, makes this trip less than enjoyable. There were at least 4 riders who fell from mostly traffic distractions. Sharing the bike routes with automobiles and motor bikes is not what I expected. The barge crew and facilities were wonderful. I would not recommend this bike tour unless you decided not to bike md just stay on the barge.
