all in all a fantastic trip . couldn’t of wish for a better trip. food wad excellent , service fantastic . ship very clean & well maintained . all the crew went out of their way to make sure that everything worked , from the guys that brought the bikes out every day , the service in the restaurant , the fantastic food & the presentation , the barman & wines . the hotel management . the riding routes & the booklet / guide book , Captain & his crew & last but not least the Tour Director . thank you all very much .

From start to finish this was the BEST trip I have ever taken! The barge was comfortable and clean. The staff was outstanding. You could not ask for a better crew. Every crew member worked hard to make the trip special for everyone. Our bike tour guides were fun, knowledgeable, and provided a safe journey for everyone. Our chef was top notch. The food was tasty, beautifully plated and more than enough to eat. Our chef even prepared a nice afternoon snack (hot out of the oven) for our return from a day of biking. I would take this trip again!

Nagyon jó szervezés. Rengeteg látniváló és még sportnak sem utolsó. A Covid helyzetben is kellemes kikapcsolódás és pihenést nyújtott.

Superbe voyage avec nuits et navigations sur le voilier avec équipage sympa (capitaine Erik, matelot, cuisinière très sympa parlant le français ) et efficace sans trop de chichis. Tout est bien organisé, les repas faits sur place sont bons ainsi que les petits déjeuners, boissons et gâteaux l’après-midi et autres petites attentions. Ambiance vraiment sympa. Cabines tout à fait correctes, jacuzzi très apprécié sur la bateau, bons vélos bien entretenus. Belles balades, beaux paysages (surtout sur les îles), belles petites villes et villages partout. En plus nous avons eu une météo tout à fait correcte début août, presque pas de pluie (une demi-heure le premier jour, un quart d’heure max. le dernier). Merci pour cette belle aventure !

I really enjoyed the combination of biking and living on a boat for a week, especially in Belgium and Netherlands where the waterways run through such lovely countryside and the bike paths are everywhere. My favorite part was getting to know the crew and my fellow-bikers during the rides and the meals, and laughing together after a day of biking. The meals were in a category of their own: Excellent, varied and innovative (bravo, Chef Michael). Our tour guide was a true expert on the places we visited and knew the territory like the back of her hand. I also enjoyed the good-naturedness of the captain, his assistant skipper, our tour guide and the wonderful hostesses who served our meals and kept the boat so clean. They treated us like friends and never seemed to be too busy to help us. Even better, when I hurt my knee on a ride, they really made me feel welcome to stay on the boat and rest. And now I miss them! Great experience, one of a kind.

Our tour team was fabulous; the routes (as well as the custom map and Ride with GPS preset mapping) were outstanding and the meals and other services on the boat were excellent. Comfortable cabin and very nice public areas on the Fluvius! Everything about this tour was great; this was our first organized group cycling tour for my wife and me (I’ve done solo cycling in Europe before) and we will definitely be repeat customers with Boat Bike Tours!

Our family of four spent a week biking and sailing around the Ijsellmeer with Captain Alvin on the “Elizabeth.” We agreed it was the best vacation ever because we are foodies and the ship’s chef “Sasha” created delicious works of art for us to eat every day. Also the beer on tap was great. We had many fun adventures biking in quaint villages and sampling local pastries. But we especially enjoyed sailing the ship and socializing in the dining room which is cozy and comfortable for hours of card games, singing family songs, and telling stories. Most ships have limited bathing facilities but the Elizabeth has so much hot shower water that once someone set off the smoke detector with the steam from the bathroom. A hot, hot shower feels wonderful after an adventurous day of hiking and biking.

I had high expectations from the info published and my pre-trip research. I was not disappointed from the cute and comfortable barge, condition of the bikes, dinner meals and variety of drinks. Our tour leader, Tamy was the best accessing our fitness levels and interest in our cultural stops. I thought the amount and distance spent on our bikes was perfect for an active vacation. After dinner as an option, we took an informative walk into the village making every day enjoyable. The Captain of the Fleur was very personable and interacted with us each evening. If one could not ride for a day, you were welcomed to sail the canals without malice. The barge was spic and span and the chef presented gourmet type food. I’m sure I will try another trip in the future with Bike/Barge—good value and great fun

Net terug van een 8 daagse met de Mare Fan Fryslan. We deden de fiets en zeilvakantie Ijsselmeer en Waddenzee. Wat een ervaring. Slow travelling in t kwadraat ! Onthaasten tot en met. Heerlijke ervaring ondanks het mindere weer. Fantastisch team Joris, Marvin, Stef en Stine ! Degelijke, wss nieuwe fietsen. Lekker ontbijt/lunchpakket. En ‘s avonds heerlijk diner. Bij terugkomst van fiets had Stef steevast wel iets gebakken of klaarstaan. Flink wat bijgeleerd over het zeilen en varen, bedankt Marvin en Joris. Voor Stine was niets te veel. Altijd met de brede glimlach !! Kortom : EEN AANRADER !!
