Two friends of many years traveling together…We loved the barge, Fleur, and her captain Evert! Our home away from home for seven nights, we had a cozy cabin, lovely common area and fantastic crew. The chef, Camilo, bent over backwards to make everyone happy, and prepared delicious and creative dinners. Our fantastic guides, Michael and Maryanne were knowledgeable, patient, savvy (especially regarding weather planning!) and resourceful. I would definitely travel again with this company. Tip: Bring multiple clothing layers, wind and rain protection for this time of year. Waterproof shoe covers and gloves, a waterproof helmet cover recommended, in addition to the obligatory rain pants and jacket.

The captain , crew and guides were all amazing. The Fleur is a beautiful boat with extremely comfortable cabins. The food was excellent.

Warm hospitality, friendly people, great food and beautiful sights as we travelled through the country led by knowledgeable guides! It was always a delight to see the Fleur after a day of cycling – she felt like home. We had a trip to remember! Even though the weather was challenging it was a fantastic trip from start to finish.

The barge was very clean and comfortable including my private accommodations. Our guides always responded to my needs and concerns and always reassured me when I was unsure about some of the challenges of bicycling. Our meals were delicious. Our tours were interesting and meaningful and although the weather was not the best, I had a lot of fun!

We have just had a fabulous week on the Fleur with a lovely crew. Our captain Everett was a great communicator and was humerous with it. Our tour guides, Maryanne and Michiel were kind fun, kept us safe and full of great info. They adapted beautifully to the weather challenges.Our cabins were clean and comfortable, food was lovely.I appreciated the fresh flowers and potted ones on board. We had such a lovely time meeting new people and saw so much more than I had ever imagined.What a beautiful country Holland is, thanks for showing us your best.

Fabulous bike tour with an experienced and knowledgeable leader. Delicious breakfast, lunch and dinners by the chef who always delivers a short presentation on what the food was and how it relates to The Netherlands. Great crew who worked to make everything easy, pleasant and safe. 5 stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The tour was well organized and professionally run. The boat (The Fleur) is not super fancy but it is clean, comfortable and homey. The food was excellent and the staff made an effort to be warm and went out of their way to create an atmosphere of camaraderie among the guests. Everyone on our tour used e-bikes, but the route would have been doable without electric assist for anyone in moderately good shape. As the cabins are below water level the atmosphere was slightly damp (it was also fall, maybe not an issue in the summer) and this made it impossible to dry wet garments below decks and some guest had trouble with allergies. As this was a fully guided tour it was sometimes difficult to have any independent experiences. I had never been on a group ride before and found it frustrating not to be able to stop if I wanted a drink of water or to take a photo. It was also stressful riding as a unit; crossing traffic en mass and keeping the exact pace of the group at all times. If you love the fun of having friends to ride with, you will enjoy, but personally I will pick a self guided tour in the future so I can enjoy the actual riding part of the trip. I would definitely recommend this tour company to friends and family. It was a really good value for the money and they run their business well.

Wonderful way to experience Europe! We just returned from an 11-day boat bike tour between Brugges, Belgium and Amsterdam, NL. aboard The Fleur. It was absolutely top notch! This cycling vacation offered guided cycling through the lovely countryside and into numerous historical sites in Belgium and The Netherlands. Our expert guides offered insights into the political, demographic, cultural, and industrial history along the way. The daily cycling program was well-organized, and informative, the gourmet meals were always fresh and on time, the accommodations were clean and private, and staff were exceptionally competent, friendly, and helpful. The cycling guides were extremely knowledgeable. We learned a lot and made new friends. We would highly recommend this tour to those who want to experience history and culture in an active holiday. This was my first boat-bike tour, although I’ve been on several hiking tours in different parts of the world. I had an exceptional experience: the cycling guides were attentive and accommodating, the Fleur was a well-appointed, clean and comfortable barge, and the food–well! Suffice to say that the chef was first class; as I told him, despite all the biking I not only didn’t lose weight, but probably gained some. I would unreservedly recommend this trip to anyone who is looking for a moderate cycling experience in a scenic corner of Europe.
