The guides, Dora and Luka, were. both outstanding, helpful and useful. They acted quickly when we had medical issue and used good judgement and helpful with the medical follow-up, especially translating for us. The food, the rooms, the other staff on the boat were warm and courteous and exceeding our needs. The boat was clean and comfortable, the food was good, but limited gluten free options. The biking was as described, about 20/25 miles on 5 days, but only biked in the morning to lunch. Time in afternoon for touring, swimming off boat or relaxing. Weather was great! The bike boat experience in Croatia was good overall but could have some improvements. The boat (Melody) was excellent. Food, accommodation and crew were great. The only criticism is that there was not enough food at breakfast. People who arrived late or at the end of the line didn’t get any. The bike rides were good at times but too much riding on busy roads and too large a group In Holland we were permitted to ride at our own pace with our maps and GPS. As long as we were at the boat by a certain time. We much prefer this way.

My son and I enjoyed the week sailing on the Magellan through Croatia’s islands out of Trogir and the daily bike tours for a week. Our international group of 28 guests of various ages had a great energy, the crew was super nice, and the traditional Dalmatian meals very enjoyable. Our tour guides Evan and Alexa were fantastic and made sure everyone was always informed about the daily plans and options. Our cabin was below deck and very cozy. A bit of engine noise at night was easily mitigated with ear plugs. I also enjoyed the guided city tours, especially in Zadar as our guide illuminated life during the 1990s war with her personal experience. All around a very memorable trip!

Our National Parks trip to the Dalmatian Islands was all we hoped for. We were fortunate to have four guides (Kristofor, Dario, Tara and Hrvoye) as two were in training. The guides were all very knowledgeable with good senses of humour so kept everyone happy. We explored parts of Croatia that we wouldn’t otherwise have seen and got unique perspectives of the country. The boat crew were also very accommodating and fed us well! I’ve read other reviews where people said to get the e-bikes. I was sceptical as I’m quite fit but decided to go with it. In the end I was happy for it as there are some extended hill climbs that can wear you down! It’s always easy to turn it off when you want to run under your own power. This trip was operated by Island Hoppers but we booked through Boat Bike Tours. This was a very simple process; as easy as a previous trip we had taken in the Netherlands that was operated by Boat Bike Tours. Due to COVID we had to postpone twice and the booking people were very accommodating during that tough time.

Good trip. Nice boat and good guides. This trip was less biking than I expected and more sailings and free time. No real negatives other than it is different than expected. You really only go one one National Park ride / hike. The rest of the rides were just through small villages or inland. I did the southern tour before and thought the scenery was better in that tour.
