This was our second trip with this company. Again the tour guides, the ship, the food, the bikes, the entire crew were all wonderful. The weather ended up being a bit windy which changed the plans but it didn’t matter, all good. As the first time, my husband and I got off track,aka lost, but were always able to get back to the ship just fine. So many beautiful sights. Already thinking about what bike tour we want to take next.

The amazing staff on board, the entire boat & bike trips around Northern Holland, the interesting places we saw while cycling and full experience made this a memorable trip! Hat off to all on board and in the background. Thank you all.

This was our first boat-bike trip and it was everything we imagined. We chose northern Holland because we wanted quiet, nature, small villages, and no crowds or city riding. We loved the mix of wooded paths, dikes, dunes, coastal routes and village roads. Every day was different. Most of the 90 passengers were Dutch or German and over age 60. Only a handful of kids onboard. Evenings were quiet, in the lounge or on the sun deck, and there wasn’t much to do but it’s a canal boat not a cruise ship and we were quite happy with that. Our twin suite was as spacious as a hotel room. Definitely worth paying a little extra. Also splurged on e-bikes because while the routes were mostly flat the winds were something else. Food was tasty and there was lots of it. We missed one port because a storm kept us from crossing the Ijsselmeer but went to a naval museum and submarine in Den Helder instead and were quite happy with our choice. Definitely one of our best bike trips and would recommend highly!

Everyone on the boat was efficient and friendly. The routes were enjoyable and generally easy to follow. The food on the boat was good. Our cabin was very clean and had a surprising amount of storage. The bikes were comfortable and in good shape. We appreciated the waterproof panier as we encountered quite a lot of rain. The only recommendation we have is that it would be nice to have a water bottle holder on the bike frame.

Seamless organization from check-in to check-out. Friendly helpful personnel all round!

Overall just a great way to explore a part of the Netherlands. Friendly and helpful staff, good food and overall a wonderful experience.

Trip of a Lifetime! From the moment you walk on the ship until you leave, the staff treats you like you are the only passenger. They are friendly, accommodating and very gracious. The food was excellent. The accommodations were not only beautiful, but pristine. The bicycle trips were the best of the best. We had so much fun. We will definitely be taking another boat and bike tour with this company! Donald Keever

We loved our suite on the De Willemstad last week, it was comfortable, clean and fresh. The bike tours each day were great, we found the routes easy to follow most of the time, but did on occasions get lost when it wasn’t 100% clear. The food was good quality and nicely served, our only gripe was that we had to eat dinner at 6.30pm (a little early for us). The drinks package is a great idea and worked well for us. We loved having dinner with other guests and making new friends. All in all a lovely week.

We can’t say enough about our experience with the boatbike tours. The staff, food and whole bike tour was more than we ever expected. Thank you for making this trip a memorable one for us!
