The tour itself was fine. The young people that worked on the tour, the guides, young lady and men that worked tirelessly in the bar, kitchen and cleaning were top notch. Helpful,kind and caring.The guys that fixed bikes also wonderful. Food was good. Boat was clean. Bikes in excellent shape. The GPS were terrible most of them stopped working after running for a hour. Found the owner of the boat rather difficult and her interaction with her staff and some of guest put a rather large damper on the trip. Would we book another tour with this boat . No I think not. As to dealing with the tour and booking company that was another problem. Had numerous problems with the administration sales force with the company. We travel a couple of times a year overseas cycling and we would not book through this company again.

Antonella was a great guide and food on board was excellent thanks to Barbara and Sylvia. Wonderful trip.

We have been on Boat Bike in the Netherlands and it was fantastic. This last trip to Sicily was not. The quality of the food, bikes, boat, and guides were disappointing, and the itinerary was not what was stated in the website.

the staff are prefect. our guide lead Mr. Nico & Ms. Nanie do a great job. though the cabin is quite small for two people, but we almost spent all time in the living room and outside. the route is not difficult for young like me, but a little hard for elder people. take a rest day will be no problem. all the route is perfect to see the best of holland. Thanks for the crews. the service and meal are delicious as well.

An excellent holiday even in the rain. The crew were extremely helpful and worked really well together. Everything appeared to have been organised with minimum fuss and maximum efficiency to give us a superb holiday. Thank you.

Our trip with Boat Bike Tours was fantastic and exceeded our expectations. The biking was great and both of our guides were great information resources and fun to travel with. The accommodations on the boat were first-rate and the food was excellent, It was great to see how well the crew worked together and appeared to truly enjoy their jobs. We would do it again without question.

We’ve been on other boat/bike tours in the past and have enjoyed them immensely. We were disappointed however with the Danube River cruise because there was too much boating and not enough biking. There was also on 2 occasions time constraints where we had to be back to the boat in the early afternoon, which made for stressful cycling and not enough time to enjoy the surrounds. I would recommend other tours but not this one.

The staff, accommodations and meals were all great! Road bikers may find the pace a bit slow, but this is a sightseeing experience. Enjoyed every minute, even the rain!

First… crew and food rated good to excellent. Ship and stateroom average but we weren’t there for coddling. Second….our trip was a misnomer. Should have been described as Barge and cycle occasionally. In my opinion, many of the cyclists onboard felt cheated on the cycling as we appeared to be meeting the ship’s itinerary and schedule at the expense of cycling. Most days that we were not in the beautiful cities of Budapest or Vienna, we were on a strict timetable to get back to the ship so she could meet her schedule. The visualization that you would be cycling along the Danube in a leisurely fashion while spending time visiting villages and sampling wines and taking in sights along the way was only partially met. Some days you barely saw the river as you skirted farmers fields on busy roads. At best, the briefings were confusing at times in terms of various routes to be taken. I know I sound super negative, but I honestly feel I was not alone in my impression of the trip. I added up the actual time my wife and I spent cycling….19 hours. That included self guided cycling in Budapest and Vienna where most of the cyclists did not cycle, but chose to do excursions. Not what we envisioned! My advice to prospective cyclists…study the proposed trip carefully and see if it will meet cycling and/or sight seeing goals. We felt we sailed too much in order to see cities, and did not get the chance to see the country side along the Danube. Sounds like sour grapes, but I feel strongly about the misconception that we thought the trip might be. Cheers
