We biked up and down the Danube to the Iron Gates on the Swiss Crown and had a very good experience! The food and all the folks that prepared it and served us were outstanding! The rooms were nice and the service with them couldn’t have been better. The farther you biked into Eastern Europe the more difficult it was but I found it great fun. Our cruise director could have stressed safety more and perhaps given more directives in case of emergency. He was a little hard on Americans in my opinion. I liked him but I thought I should share that.

Most awesome crew of Carlos (bike guide), Fillipo , barge captain, Sara, most fabulous chef, and Michela (spelling?) who was new , but super at his job. He was friendly, made great juice drinks, and has great smile! Only suggestion that several of us had was to rate the biking as Level 2 and half, instead of Level 1. Biking thru towns was challenging, (but Carlos was of great help), downhill on gravel roads was not always easy, and the one day with an elevation. I tried an E-bike for first time, and appreciated that you had extras on board. Had gotten muscle cramps, probably from travel delays and temps in mid 90’s (I prefer heat to cold, so was fine), and my upper legs were sore from those nasty, painful quad muscle cramps, thus the main reason for E-bike. Your regular bikes were more comfortable for my being 5’1”, just FYI. Overall, a wonderful experience! Also wanted to compliment Carlos for arranging awesome tours in the towns and for his flexibility on the last day. 3 bikers did the regular route, and he guided the rest of us to the Mediterranean Sea and a smaller group to an interesting winery, with gracious hosts. He was sensitive to what we wanted, spoke great English and other languages, loved his job and I can’t say enough great things about him. Another negative for us US folks (and certainly not your fault) were airline difficulties. We arrived in France a day late and long day of waiting for trains, etc. Maybe contributed to my dehydration, thus muscle cramps. That’s all! Cheers to a trip well planned!

Lovely holiday. Food was excellent. Guide was excellent. Cabin was adequate. Staff were lovely. Cycle routes were easy and mostly dedicated cycle paths. Really couldn’t find any fault with anything. I would do another trip.

We had a great time on our trip. We totally connected with all of the other passengers and enjoyed the camaraderie. The guides and rides were also wonderful. The guides were fun and knowledgeable and the scenery, especially on the long rides, was beautiful. We especially enjoyed the beautiful towns of Auxerre, Sens and Moret Sur Loing. While small, the cabins were comfortable with plenty of storage and the water pressure was great for showers. Our only “complaint” was that it was a trip through Burgundy France and the food and snacks were primarily Dutch. We had expected to have regional food and wines on the trip and were disappointed that that was not the case. More thought and attention need to be given to the food and wine experience on board as the location of this trip attracts foodies. Other than the food I would recommend the trip.

We had a fabulous time on the boat and bike tour through Holland and Belgium. The boat was immaculate, the crew was fabulous, the food was incredible and the rides were amazing. Looking to book another trip!

The tour was awesome. Led by our guide Carlos. Great sense of humor and very helpful. Our meals were delicious. We wanted for nothing. Awesome scenery and towns in Provence and Camargue. Aigues Mort was the cherry on top of an incredible adventure

Amsterdam to Bruges June 2022 After booking and waiting 1115 days (due to Covid) for the trip, the boat ‘Magnifique 111’ says it all !! The Captain Gert Jan and crew Ingeborg, Elxe-Mieke and Albert were awesome. The tour leaders Peter, Corrie and Wilfred were 1st class, knowledgeable, fun and well organized. Felt safe on all of the rides. Stops for pee breaks, pictures, lunch and drinks were all about right. It was a ‘Premium’ tour and Chef Dick’s food definitely was, breakfast, lunch and supper! . Booking another tour for 2023. We felt taken care of. A trip of a life time. Ron & Donna

Our boat bike trip exceeded my expectations. It was my first trip on a boat. The boat and cabins were new, attractive, clean, comfortable and bigger than expected. The dining room comfortable clean and not crowded. The deck was great but not always possible to sit in the shade. The staff were friendly, efficient & personable. The boat crew were super helpful on board and with the bikes at all times. The bike was new, nice to ride and pannier high quality waterproof. The food was really good and the veg choices wete excelent. The appetizers were great and we especially ejoyed the salads. I Iiked having lots of fresh fruit at breakfast, and the breakfast buffet sumptuous. The beverage prices were very reasonable. Our guide was excellent & the gps & route sheets super helpful, no problems navigating the route. The history tour was a highlight and we would have like one more even if we had to pay more for it.

A fabulous trip! Great staff who consistently presented a smile and ‘can do’ approach. The bikes would benefit from a handlebar mounted water bottle holder but were otherwise good.

The zwanje was a wonderful boat very clean with adequate space for all of our belongings. The crew were fabulous as were the guides. The bikes are heavy with good tires so they provide stability with good gearing for climbs. Champagne tasting gorgeous countryside charming towns WWI memorials made the rides interesting and fun. Our guides were knowledgeable about the history and sites that we visited. They also placed a priority on our safety. Did I mention how fabulous the food was? Beautiful presentation as well. Great trip.
