We had a great time. Unfortunately we were supposed to be on a bike/boat tour, but our boat was damaged a couple days prior to our tour so we were switched to a bus/bike tour. However, the company did a pretty good job, given the short time frame. The hotels and meals that were substituted were reasonable and some were very good. I would do this again.

Zeer goed georganiseerd. Zeer vriendelijke bemanning en begeleiding. Lekker eten. Schitterende routes! Alles was super. En we hadden ook nog geweldig weer.

This was our second trip with boat bike tours. We didn’t realize that they were an acting travel agent until we were ready to go. Our trip along the Danube was cancelled last minute due to the ship Arlene II running aground. We found out hours before we were to leave for the airport. It was a bit of scrambling, but they offered us a hotel/bike tour instead. It was ok, but quite disorganized at first. We felt a little abandoned. It ended up being ok and we had a lot of fun, but it was a pain to pack up our bags each morning. We were living out of our suitcase the whole time. Also, most of the hotels did not have air conditioning and we hit a heat wave at the end of August so it made it hard to sleep. Another big disappointment was that the tour (originally Passau to Budapest) only went to Vienna. The main reason we booked it was to go to Budapest. After such a great experience last year (best of Holland) it wasn’t as good, but we made the best of it and enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the Danube.

We enjoyed our tour guides, and the people we traveled with. The food was excellent and we had an entertainer come on board Thursday evening, and we all danced and had a good time! It was great to not have to load and unload the bikes each day. We rented bikes and helmets, very easy and good commuter type.

Cabins are small; *very* small for a large person. The crew is fantastic. Captain Hans is a capital fellow. Be aware that the Wi-Fi is next to useless – not surprising for a boat – so don’t expect to do any remote work. Food is good and hearty but not gourmet fare. It is a fantastic way to see the low countries and make new friends. Maximum cycling per day is around 57 km, which is quite easy for a novice. All in all, i would recommend it to anyone.

We enjoyed the week, staff, accommodation and meals. Due to the changes in cycling routes which occur when sailing, some distances were needed to be covered in a shorter length of time than was comfortable for us. Several guests had ebikes and this was not a problem for them. We didn’t. We missed the opportunities to stop and enjoy the scenery or relax with a beer as we did on Magnifique 11. We did have the chance to relax a bit but there was pressure with having to embark at a set time. Would take ebikes next time.

Great service from booking through to the holiday. Very simple to book, pay and then before we left and in plenty of time we got all the information we needed. The holiday is a true experience, beautiful ship and great staff.

The business office is a disaster, including constant notices of failure to pay even though we were paid in full! Blaming a new billing system for over a year was ridiculous! No apology whatsoever! Soon no one will want to book through these people! In addition, adding a 90 year old man at the last minute could have been a total disaster and was not appropriate. Luckily, our guide was able to make it work out okay. Fred was fantastic as was the chef and other crew members! That being said, once we were on the boat, the trip was a lot of fun! Some days had very little biking and a lot of waiting around, but overall, we all had a good time. The Netherlands are wonderful for bicycling!

Great company and crew. Food good, rides well planned. Only complaint would be lack of a on boat and inadequate ac in rooms.
