Highly recommend. Excellent modern clean boat, excellent food, pleasant staff. Bike guides knowledgeable and provided history of various places we stopped. Bar prices were reasonable and the decor was really lovely.

We found the barge/bike tour a fabulous experience. Good quality bikes, a great ride, coming back each day to a lovely, comfortable barge as our home. Food was magnificent and abundant. Our guide was excellent. He was friendly and very knowledgeable and like all the staff, had a great sense of humour. I can highly recommend this tour. A great way to see the world.

Wonderful week on the Manifique 3 – Best of Holland tour. Lots of fun and easy cycling.

Boat was lovely, very homey feeling. Boat crew were friendly, eager to help, easy to communicate with. Leah and Horsbrut(sp?) in my opinion were not customer friendly. I understand they have great responsibility, but I often felt I was taking up their time with a question. Often felt they were defensive about any comment/opinion I might have. I ended up sort of happy the trip was over…not what I like to feel after a trip…

My wife and I were very satisfied with our experience on The Magnifique III. Our expectations were exceeded in every regard. The staff were wonderful, meals excellent and the accommodations first rate. We traveled from Amsterdam to Bruges 10/13-20 and were lucky enough to have very good weather for mid October. Each day we were given the option of taking a “long ride” or a “short ride”. This worked out well for everyone on the trip. There were plenty of breaks for coffee, lunch and picture taking. Each evening, after dinner, there was a planned event like a walk in the village or city we happened to be docked in. One evening there was a beer tasting on board. We met wonderful people on the and it was nice to be the only Americans on the trip. Our tour guides Corrie, Hans and Peter were excellent. They were all concerned that everyone was safe and enjoying themselves. They provided information on points of interest as we rode along giving us insight into what we were seeing. Great experience all around!

My husband & I took our 23- and 18-yr old sons on the Carissima for the Passau-Budapest-Passau bike-boat trip and it was FANTASTIC. 5 stars from each of us! Paula at Boat Bike Tours worked tirelessly with me to ensure we had the dates & cabins needed, & answered so many questions for me. Carissima cruise director Albert, dining manager Dragan, & hotel manager Danjiel were wonderful – very personable, knowledgeable, fun & funny, & helped us in so many ways especially with our younger son who is quite a character. The cabins were comfortable (even on the lowest deck), the food was beautiful & delicious, all of our equipment was in great condition, and the Budapest by bicycle local tourguide led us on a fascinating English-speaking tour that included insights into current life in Budapest as well as history. Bratislava local tour guide (English speaking) was excellent too. I have recommended this tour & tour company to everyone I know who’s interested in cycling.

We loved our biking trip in Bordeaux. The biking routes were fun and just challenging enough. Riding through the Vineyards and seeing the chateaus were memorable experiences. The boat was very comfortable as were our cabins and the food was well prepared with a good variety. The daily briefings were exceptional because Dorian was entertaining, knowledgeable, and and he gave enough detail. The crew was friendly, professional and extremely helpful. The only issue was the shortage of bicycle mechanics. Some of the bicycles were not in good repair. However, we were always helped by Dorian or Rene, especially when we experienced a flat tire en route. Denis was also always available and very helpful.

Excellent accommodation and food on barge; staff go out of their way to be friendly and helpful. Bikes very efficient and as comfortable as bikes can be; interesting itinerary and very knowledgeable, fun guide. Plenty of stops during bike rides for refreshments and sight-seeing.
