Great boat , food, bikes, crew and guides. Everything was as advertised and would not hesitate to book with them again.

This is our 7th trip with this company. We have always enjoyed the biking and having our boat waiting for us. The biking exposes you to all manner of wonderful countryside and smaller villages. Then the boat is in sight and you know it will be clean, the sailors will help stow the bike, the fragrance from the kitchen will make you smile, and you know your biking companions will join you in sharing the stories of the day. The simple fact that you only unpack once for the week is great but to see the other people for a week you will have great conversations with all the nationalities on board. Great concept, well executed, fine rooms on a great boat with wonderful people and staff.

We took the Magnifique from Brugge to Amsterdam and had a fantastic time. Our tour guides, Fred and Corrie, were amazing, the accommodations were comfortable and the cycling was fabulous. We’d go again in a heartbeat!

Without a doubt, an exceptional tour! The guides were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The staff on board was accommodating and enjoyable, too. Spectacular way to see the country. Go with friends! You’ll most certainly leave the barge having made many new friends, too.

The trip was excellent even though we had difficulty with setting it up as problems with info received . I realize there were a few of us concerned but receiving the total information caused problems. thanks Laura

We enjoyed our time cycling in the Netherlands . The Barge was great , rooms and bathrooms very efficient .clean . Our Chief was fantastic .( better than experienced on much costlier trips ) Staff friendly . Only downside was that we did not have the regular cycling guides for our week . One of our groups often lost our way .

Wir waren auf dem Jelmar vom 15.-22. September im Grünen Herz der Niederlanden unterwegs. Sehr empfehlenswert, wenn man ein Bilderbuchholland abseits der Touristenpfade erleben möchte. Ein kleines Schiff, so richtig familiär. Das Abendessen ist einfach. Am letzten Abend (Toast Hawai, Teigwaren mit einer Ricott-Spinatsauce, Poffertjes) war es wohl sehr ein Lowcostessen mit starkem “Refillcharakter”.Dort kamen wir uns mehr abgefertigt dann verabschiedet vor. Nicht nur in unserer Kajüte gab es die ganze Woche eine grössere Anzahl mottenähnliche Nachtfalter. Wir wurden dahingehend beruhigt, dass sie nicht stechen. Obwohl dies stimmte, haben wir die Tierchen nicht sehr geschätzt. Ich denke sie kommen aus dem Innenleben des Schiffes.

the company acted as the middleman for a boat tour in Bordeaux. There were a number of changes which they handled fairly satisfactorily. The only request is that I wish they would acknowledge changes in a direct email rather than by sending a new booking form with the change buried at the bottom, and not even directly as well. This proved to be a problem for our group as the company confused which direction bus transport was needed for, and since the only verification was a price change, which was the same, they company got the direction wrong so the entire group waited needlessly for over an hour on the bus.
