Lena Maria is just fantastic. Klaas (our guide) is just the best!! Lars is an absolute Master Chef!! Cabins lovely and clean!! Thoroughly recommend!! E-bike make the bike riding so much more relaxing! !

Great times with this group. Everything was perfect from the organization of activities to the food to the staff but mostly to the guides. I will always use this organization for my tours. Hills are challenging on the Southern Dalmatia tour but everyone ( mostly retired) fared well. For better comfort maybe use ebikes. As far as I have seen, everyone else on our tour said it was great. Some other experienced travelers said it was the best tour ever for them., Great

We loved the boat Lena Maria and the crew (Conny, Robin, Lars, and Klaas). The food was outstanding. It was rated as easy (level 1) but turned out to be moderate. Changes had to be made because of low canal/water levels, and that was understandable – as a result, there was only 1 choice of route each day, and some were more km than anticipated.

Excellent food, neat clean ship, friendly and helpful crew. Bicycles were robust and easy to use, but a bit heavy and could have used one more gear for hills.

We had a wonderful experience with excellent guides. We enjoyed the opportunity to ride through beautiful countryside and stop in charming villages for lunch and coffee breaks. Our guides offered insightful information in each of the cities we visited. The crew was hardworking and provided excellent meals and a very clean boat for us. Our only concern was that the first day’s ride was much longer and more challenging than we expected. But the pleasure of the other days more than made up for that. We would highly recommend the trip!

Organization, food, facilities, professional and accommodating staff, communication, and tour route were all excellent. Would recommend to anyone interested in a bike and boat tour. Traveling on the boat along the canals and through the locks was also a wonderful way to see the sights. Highlights included the visits to Canadian War Cemeteries and Monuments and experiencing the towns, villages and vistas while riding a bike.

This was a trip with fun, exercise, adventure and learning. The staff was friendly and helpful, seemed to really enjoy their job.. Overall a wonderful way to see Belgium and Holland.

Good trip. Nice boat and good guides. This trip was less biking than I expected and more sailings and free time. No real negatives other than it is different than expected. You really only go one one National Park ride / hike. The rest of the rides were just through small villages or inland. I did the southern tour before and thought the scenery was better in that tour.

A really fantastic trip to the Friesan Islands aboard Leafde fan Fryslan – a beautiful sailing ship with a great captain and crew who worked hard throughout week to ensure we had a great holiday. A very competent skipper and first mate made sure everything was done in a very professional manner (yet always seemed to be relaxed – very important for us on our holidays!). The chef fed us of the best and the housekeeper answered every request with a smile. If you like fresh air, nature and exercise you will love this trip.
