Our boat sail tulip experience was awesome. The crew, food, and trip leadership were great and the scenery can’t be beat.. While Holland is flat, the wind can make the riding challenging. I would suggest that anyone who is not a strong rider rent an E-Bike. changing from a regular bike to an e-bike made all the difference for my wife on the trip.

This was an economic and fun way to do a Danube river cruise. It was great to be able to take the bicycles out everyday or walk around the small towns and big cities. The boat had issues: leaky ceilings, electricity went out a few times. It was not luxurious accommodation, very small rooms and bathrooms. The cruise director was very knowledgeable and gave excellent briefings on the bike paths everyday. I liked that we were independent throughout the day, could do our own schedule to get from place to place. The food was better than expected, especially the dinners-4-5 course meals that were prepared in classical style. I would use this company again, just for the cost savings.

I got nice and good-hearted tour guides John and Monika. Skipper Hans gave me the chance to experienced the lock. Gandalf boat crew member include the dog Yala are all nice. Various foods are quite tasty. Cycling level is easy even for beginners. I was the only solo guest, but other 16 tour mates are very nice to me, so I feel like as in a big family in a boat. Strongly recommend to join this tour!!!!

The cycling and tour guides were great. The boat was disappointing as there was a change from the original boat and there ended up being very little cruising. It was like staying in a floating hotel which also meant several bus trips to get back to the boat from cycling.

We enjoyed everything! The size of the boat and # of guests allowed us to meet everyone and we got to know each other over the week we were together. Tamara (Tammy), our cycling guide is amazing and Rob (2nd cycling guide) has a wealth of historical information on the areas we cycled. The food was delicious and we all looked forward to the menu description by Camillo, our chef. The staff on board, Evert, Petra, Adwin, did everything to make our trip enjoyable and memorable. We have all made new friends!

It was a great trip with good food. It would have been 5 stars if there had been a second guide as advertised. Also, some inexperienced riders on e-bikes made for some dangerous situations in our long line of 20 bikes.

The crew and tour leader made us comfortable and safe. We reserved e-bikes, and were glad we did. Our daily rides involved some hill climbing and these well-maintained bikes made it easier on us to keep up. Each day brought interesting rides and destinations. Carlos, our leader, pointed out sites, and scheduled good stops along the way. All staff were very very helpful. Lots of humor along the way!!
