When unexpected things happened, the crew and guides were able to pivot and implement alternatives with almost no disruption for guests. This is the sign of an outstanding company. Would highly recommend!

Nice boat and crew, good stops and bike routes

The 4 crew members on the Lena Maria and the 2 tour guides – Patrick and Martinette were all wonderful! As an in-experienced biker, there were options to chose the shorter ride or stay on the boat. With an electric bike I was able to keep up and opted for the longer rides as I did not want to miss anything. We always knew the next day’s schedule. The crew were amazing and all worked hard. The food – oh so delicious! We were also very blessed to have air-conditioning in our cabins as the weather became extremely hot – no rain which was great!

The whole boat/bike experience was wonderful. The guides, the food, the accommodation, all seven crew members! Every aspect of this tour was great.

Our room was clean, comfortable, and cool, which was vital since we were riding in temps up to 88 degrees F. Unusual heat in Netherlands and Belgium this time of year. But the chef and crew kept us supplied with fresh watermelon slices, smoothies, etc. when we returned from a ride. The meals were delicious and beautifully presented. Our guides Patrick and Martinette were excellent, navigating us safely to our destinations each day, and enriching the rides with cultural and historical information and fun experiences like the strawberry vending machine and the crazy bike museum. After only eight days, we felt like we had added some wonderful people and memories to our lives

My husband and I traveled with Boat Bike tours from Amsterdam to Bruge and we highly recommend this company. The boat was clean and comfortable and the crew was fantastic. Our guides were friendly, knowledgeable and fun! We saw so many wonderful sites, tried lots of great food and made many new friends. It was a wonderful adventure and we can’t wait to do another one! Thanks to everyone for creating an unforgettable holiday for us!

The staff were great. Very knowledgeable and fun to ride with. The food was delicious! Size of the boat was perfect! Not too many people but enough to make it interesting. We will return.

The staff for the trip was very good. The ‘barge’ was very nice, the room was bigger and more comfortable than we expected. The food was in our opinion just mediocre, not bad, but certainly not gourmet. On barbecue night, they ran out of rib’s before everyone had some. The bike tour was good, however there was only 2 guides for the 33 guests, which wasn’t enough. The group was usually split into long and short rides, so even with 15 to 20 in a group with 1 guide was too many people. On one ride one of the group was stung by a bee, he immediately began to have swelling, the guide had no emergency kit to deal with him and did not have knowledge about where there may be a pharmacy. Everyday there wasn’t a plan as to where to stop for breaks or for lunch. We had packed lunches from the barge but come lunch time we were told that in order to have a good sit down place (in a restaurant) we would have to buy at least a drink, or we wouldn’t be allowed to use the restroom. Not good planning in our opinion. The tour groups could have used more support, more experienced guides for smaller groups, or some kind of van support they could connect with in an emergency. The bikes were okay, but not good for experienced riders. This wasn’t a bike trip, more a lazy touring ride. The guide for our group several times had to retrace her steps as she wasn’t familiar enough with the route. Not a problem but sometimes frustrating for the group.

Best tour ever!! The staff, tour guides, boat, bikes, organization, biking routes, destinations, food, accommodations, loved everything! Can’t wait to do another bike tour with this company
