Ivo, Reintje, Agnieszka and Waldy, You made the trip so amazing. Thank you for all you did for my group from the US. We are a bunch of crazy airline people and you handled us with grace and compassion. The meals were amazing and plentiful. Even though you have nothing to do with the weather…it could not have been better. Raintje thank you so much for taking care of our cabins and our everyday needs. You made my job so much easier. The crew and cruise was absolutely FABULOUS! The crew were the BEST EVER!! Everyone really worked hard and did an excellent job! This was our 1st bike barge cruise and it really could not have been any better. It was a dream cruise. The other passengers were also very friendly and fun. This was a 10 + expierience! Thank you crew!!!

Think about getting the e bike (it can be very windy) and also bring a gel pad for the seat or wear bike shorts . The food and staff are tip top.

A few days before we were to start our trip we got a notice that the renovations on *De Holland* weren`t done, so we would be on another boat–*Andante*–and would receive a 50 Euro on-board beverage allowance as recompense. That was the first good surprise of many on this trip. Our room was comfortable, made up freshly each day if we wished. The only drawback was a sewage smell in the bathroom, which I figured out how to remedy by putting the drain plug in the sink. Smell gone! The meals were wonderful, the staff even more so–helpful, smart, courteous, going out of their way to be of assistance. The boat was always extremely well-kept. The captain moved us from place to place with the greatest of safety in mind–once changing destination because of high winds that would have made harbour entry tricky or unsafe. I`d love to take another tour and hope we get Margriet as tour guide again. Oh–and the routes were great, with solitude (even in crowded Netherlands), beauty of canals, fields, birds. The wind wasn`t bad, the weather was chilly, but very fine for cycling, with lots of watering holes along the way each day.

Just one little comment- it is nice, of course, to be seated at the table where everyone speaks your language. But what about those who would like to practice another language? Should not they be given an opportunity to chose a different table for their meals during the course of the week? This would help create more camaraderie in the group as well.

We enjoyed trip overall. Some of the biking in be the towns and busy bike paths were more stressful than comfortable. Riders do need at least some biking experience to keep the groups together, slower riders caused more stops and starts than otherwise would have been necessary. Bikes we’re hybrids with an additional back pedal brake that we were not used to causing some awkwardness when starting off. But seats were comfortable and gearing appropriate for the terrain. The touristy part of trip was great, got wonderful flavor of Belgium and Netherlands. The boat was excellent, certainly gave impression of an upscale operation. Food was high quality but some choices were not always welcome by all (not everyone likes fish). Rooms were nice and compact. Guides were entertaining and fellow passengers were all easygoing and chatty.

The leader Margriet was awesome and all team (they made the difference) but the boat Andante not in shape. The instrutions were OK, the meals good
