It was a pleasant and memorable experience on the bike, across the countries, into the towns, places and excellent cuisine on the boat prepared by a very dedicated chef. The bike tours were led by a very genuine and experienced guide. Totally enjoyed every moment of the tour with my wife. Had a great time interacting with the other passengers from all nationalities.

The crew members made the trip. Great atmosphere! Bikes were well maintained. Accommodations will clean. Breakfasts was a 5 star! Now the negative. The dinners were the worst I have ever eaten. It was a joke. Almost every night over salted soggy frozen vegetables. A bell pepper stuffed with rice and tomato soup. Meat was pre made frozen food. Pre formed meat (square schnitzels in Germany) Salads were fresh. French frie potatoes were under cooked mushy. It was a joke! Dessert was from local grocery store frozen food section. The food was not even to a school cafeteria standard.
Thank you for your feedback. Really sorry to hear your complaints about the food on board. We contacted the orgazing company of this tour for an explanation. During the week there has been a change of staff in the kitchen, this caused the problems. This is ofcourse not the standard we would like to offer and want to compensate you for this. We have sent you an e-mail and hope to hear from you.

The Boat Bike tour was exactly what we expected. The accommodations were as promised, the food was excellent, and when we were able to ride, the rides were of a length and difficulty commensurate with our expectations. My only complaint is that on ride days, the was a bit too much waiting around for the ride to begin.

My husband and I had a great experience on our bike and sail in the Baleric Islands. We are from the US and in our 60’s and had done several bike and boat trips in Europe but those were on bike trails in flat areas. However, we wanted to experience spending a week on the beautiful Atlantis sailing ship–which was wonderful! The terrain was much more challenging physically and we ended up renting electric bikes, which made it easier. The guides and the crew on the ship were FABULOUS and helped us in all ways with learning how to sail, guiding us on the bikes and serving Fabulous meals! The rooms all had AC and private baths and were adequate. But we spent non-sleeping hours on the inviting top deck socializing, enjoying the great views and lovely surroundings. This is our second trip with Bike and Boat and we definitely want to do this again but will return to areas with easier terrain and bike trails…I am grateful for this wonderful memory which I will cherish.

I had a GREAT time. Be aware though the biking is difficult. I used an e-bike even though I ride at home. Several guests regretted not renting an e-bike. They still had fun but thought because they were “in shape” they could do the biking. Also, some bikers realized they are getting older (me too) and knew an e-bike was appropropriate. All staff are proficient and fun. Last, but not least, the food was delicious. ! Thank you.

Had a great time with routes of reasonable length, god food, varied scenery, reasonable bar prices and kept well informed re next day’s events

What great fun! The crew, the food and the trips were all perfect. The rides were about 30 miles a day – each different. A GPS made following the routes easy. We enjoyed the company of others as well.

Had expected to be off the main river routes, and many more small villages.

Fixed seating at mealtimes was a problem for us. I would much prefer to have had demipension and gone out for dinner at night The food was very basic but adequate. The briefings were generally good. Short and to the point. The maps were good.
