Great holliday, the combination of sailing and biking is perfect! We very much appreciated the goodwill and very friendly way the crew organised the whole week, they made the past week extra special. Also the presence of the different nationalities was a surplus!

My friends and I just finished a boat and bike tour in the Southern Dalmation Islands of Croatia through BoatBike Tours. We had an absolutely great time on the tour aboard the MY Romantica. The food (lots of vegetables), staff on board, and ports of call are excellent. I am glad I had opted for an ebike though as the temperature averaged 30 deg C with many 6-10 deg, 5-10 km, hill climbs. Fortunately you are rewarded with some fantastic views along the way. You travel along roads on the islands but they are very quiet and the drivers are careful and friendly towards bike riders. One of my favourite things was to take a swim in the warm, pristine Mediterranean waters right off the back of the boat after a day of biking.

Boat and Bike Tour – Fluvius was absolutely fantastic. The leader Guss was very caring and thoughtful to all of the riders and took the time to explain the different areas, history and tip bits in multiple languages – always with a smile on his face. The barge was clean and tidy and my cabin were very suitable for sleeping. The range of food, wine and beer including on board activities and after dinner walks made it a wonderful experience. I would not hesitate to recommend the tour!

Our trip with Boat Bike Tours was ver enjoyable. We arrived earlier than we were supposed to but were warmly welcomed to put our luggage on the deck until our room was ready. The crew were very friendly and great to get to know and all worked very hard to make our stay memorable. Since this was a first experience for us we found the biking to be a bit more, going farther distances daily than what we’d read about in the literature we had been given, but not undoable. One of us was quite apprehensive about being able to keep up but we found there were all levels of biking ability, so that was not a problem. An upgrade of the website info to include actual miles or klms each day would be good. We were also expecting to have a bit more free time at various places than we had, which was not possible because of distances that had to be covered. We really enjoyed getting acquainted with the other travelers on our trip, as well as the crew. We would definitely recommend boat bike tours to others. Thanks for a very enjoyable trip!
Thank you for your positive review about the Bruges - Amsterdam tour aboard the Magnifique II. We can understand that the daily program can be a little fatiguing, but there is so much to see in so little time. Of course we would like our guests to experience it all! I was a part of a group of three 60 something aged couples who just finished the Island Hopping (Boatbike) Dalmation coast trip on the Romantica, we all loved it. The biking, while strenuous, was super enjoyable. Fit people could get by on regular bikes but less fit or less experienced riders would need e-bikes as a couple of the days required 1000m of elevation gain. The food on the boat was excellent and served with ample portions. We especially loved swimming off the back of the boat in the crystal clear Mediterranean waters. Our two biking guides, Yelena and Karlo, were amazing and looked after us like a mother duck with their ducklings. Would highly recommend this trip.

This trip was great. Food wonderful! Tips: On website ensure it is clear the level of biking and number of kilometres per day. We were caught off guard as to the distance for biking. This was our mistake but perhaps it could be clearer. Staff was friendly, helpful. Outside seating deck lovely.

We are planning to change our information about the level of cycling, but still there is always a chance that you have to cycle a bit more than written in the itinerary. The trip was very much as advertised. The crew was very friendly. The cabins were not large but very well designed. The guides made a real effort to add some cultural tourism to the biking. it was fun.

Very nice experience! Beautiful dutch countryside!!! Very lucky with the weather as we had no rain at all! All staff very friendly and helpful. Food was very good and plenty. Negative comments:(1) I requested a quiet room on my application form and was located in the nearest room to the reception desk/main entrance to the boat (Room 302), therefore very, very noisy. Could not get any sleep before 12:30 am and with earplugs! (2) There should be jug of water at meals. Even to take a pill you have to buy a bottle of mineral water, (3) We were promised a cheese tasting event which never took place. In site of these, I had a lovely time and would recommend Boat and Bike. Thank you.
Wonderful to read you have enjoyed your South-Holland tour! Regarding your negative comments, we are very sorry the cabin was not what you have applied for. Unfortunately, we cannot grant all requests we receive on the booking forms. If the less noisy cabins are already booked there is not much left we can offer. But I understand it was good to have known in advance that a ship is more thin-walled than you have probably expected. Other 'noises' aboard a ship can be: the engine, the generator, footsteps on the upper deck, a snoring neighbour. For next time! About the water provided during the meals; we can say that most ships do not use their tap water for consumption. It is safe to drink the water, but they do not prefer to fill jugs of water during the meals. But we do think that a glas of water to take a pill could have been provided. We will forward your suggestion to the crew of the ship. Regarding your last comment about the cheese tasting: we are sorry to hear you haven't had this experience. It was supposed to be an extra effort from the ship, but they probably had there reasons. We will ask them about it. I hope you have enjoyed the visit of the cheese farm and that you were able to taste some cheese there. Great that your overall experience was so positive and that you would recommend us. Thanks! WE had the most wonderful bike/barge tour on the Fluvius. Captain Visser and his second mate Ligthart were excellent and professional pilots on our trips through the canals. They were very accessible and easy to talk with about the barge and how they guided it along the canals. The whole staff was friendly and easy going. They all made the trip wonderful, especially in dealing with some very tired bikers at the end of the day. a very professional staff.

Our trip from Amsterdam to Bruges, Belgium was fantastic! The boat is beautiful. The staff is very hard-working and accomomdating. The food was great. The tour guide was terrific at getting 34 people of varying cyclying abilities and ages from Point A to Point B each day. I would highly recommend this trip to anyone interested in seeing the Netherlands and Belgium in a much more intimate way than a traditional tour.
