Our tour leader was incredible – fascinating schedules, routes, tours and group. The team on the Vita Punga were courteous, efficient and FUN!!! Can’t wait to schedule another trip.

Excellent organisation, amenities and staff.

The fellow travelers were a joy to be with, the crew was mostly very helpful and accommodating, the food was excellent, the itinerary was interesting and fun, the rooms were excellent.

Good format. Great guides and service staff. Great food.

Our first bike and boat trip and it was better than I expected! Biking along the Danube was breathtaking. For the most part we were on bike paths, only a little street riding. We passed small towns, vineyards, cornfields, castles, churches, wineries, water buffalo, and fields with lavender and other flowers. The Guibo app worked pretty well but occasionally it did not keep up. However, we were able to quickly correct our route. Riding along the river you’ll see a castle on a hill every mile or so. We packed our lunch at breakfast and enjoyed it along the way, often with a beer in a small town. The SE Manon is a nice boat, more than adequate and staff was very nice. Most guests are from that region and speak German, but thankfully we made friends with a few that spoke English.

Our boat and bike experience was great! We enjoyed the cycling in the beautiful countryside and the opportunity to make new friends from other countries. Boat and bike is very organized, but we would have liked more description of the things that could be seen along the trails. For example, we rode up hill to see a monastery, but found empty buildings except for a Lego display. Also I know it is not always possible, but having one queen size bed instead of 2 twins would be very nice. We really enjoyed the Indonesian specialty buffet! Our guides were great at checking up to make sure no one was having difficulties.

This was a fantastic trip! We were looked after extremely well by our crew on the Wappen fan Fryslan- Frank, Lieuwe, Joost and Dita. Nothing was too much trouble for them, right down to the little details. I always enjoyed our evening briefings on what to look out for on the next day’s cycling. The meals produced in the small galley were excellent and varied.I would say the balance between sailing ( when the wind was right…) was good, and there was time to explore each of the ports where we moored overnight. The routes took us from through a variety of locations but the island of Terschelling was my outright favourite.

Unfortunately my wife had an accident on her E-Bike and although the assistance back on board was wonderful, the communication available to get assistance at the time of the accident was non existent. Refer to her separate incident report.
