Excellent balance of riding and sailing. Accommodation and food was first class. The 5 crew members were professional, friendly and did not appear to be at work! They were amazing – skipper, mate chef and hosts.

The captain and crew were very informative, friendly and helpful. Each morning the captain advised where the boat would be sailing and where we would be bike riding. He included the temperature, forecast weather conditions and wind. We were advised of places of interest that we could stop on our way. We also learned a lot about the history of the Netherlands and their people as well as the bodies of water we were sailing through. The food was great. The boat was wonderful. We enjoyed our cabin and found it to be very comfortable. We booked our trip from June 15 through June 22. The temperatures were comfortable for biking and living aboard. The bike routes were fairly flat and easy to navigate. It’s a great and memorable experience. Jan & Steve Robertson

Great mix between sportive activity and sailing. Nice accomodations. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Our chef did such a wonderful job in spoiling us with his creative menus – they were all delicious. We enjoyed very much, that the bike tours were planned on a individual basis and we didn’t have to follow a guided tour in a group. Made it a lot more relaxing for us. Hope that option will be continued. Don’t know if we had joined, if group cicling tours had been the only option.

The sailing experience and meeting people from different countries.

We enjoyed the biking and sailing very much. We have wonderful photos and special memories. The weather was unusually cold but we had a great time. We enjoyed meeting the other guests and the team was excellent! Keep up the great work!

Mathias, Marvin, Sylvia, and Victor were a wonderful hard-working staff who took very good care of us. They were unfailing patient and kind the whole week. The boat was roomy and the staterooms tiny, but complete. Food was excellent and plentiful. We’ll definitely book another trip with Boat Bike Tours.

We had a trip we will remember for a long time to come for many different reasons: the amazing experience of being on a large sailing boat; the Dutch countryside is just stunning & very easy to cycle through; the quality of food was excellent; everything was very well organised and it great to meet other like-minded cyclists from many different countries. Our cabin was good but you will need to accept that they are not very spacious! Sitting on deck is very relaxing. There is a good choice of the level activity & there is time to explore towns as well.

Biking in small villages and towns in areas of the Netherlands that I would not otherwise see was the highlight. Being on a ship for the week was relaxing, and I enjoyed getting to know other passengers. I appreciated the large ship and small group of passengers. The dinners were very good and I appreciated the variety. The breakfasts were quite repetitive, despite offering an array of options each morning. Being able to add a piece of fruit to the sandwich picnics would have been helpful as well. The staff were interesting, pleasant and easy to work with. Note: I would have happily paid more for a nicer quality of wine.

Such a great time. Biking was fabulous. Crew was so amazing. Loved all of it.
