I loved the group cycling and group support. The meals and lodging were excellent. I did not like the app for the different locations; we need more review and training in this department to make it less stressful.

The wonderful personalities of the crew brought all the passengers into close friendship. We told stories, laughed, danced, drank…and biked a lot of miles into the wind with Mischa and Franklin encouragement.

Our itinerary was completely changed without any input from the tour members. This lead to cycling to areas vastly different from what we were expecting.

Unfortunately, due to unexpected waterway closures, we had to make this difficult decision at the very start of the tour. Exceeded all expectations; professional, happy, friendly crew created a wonderful atmosphere and we felt that they really cared about us having the best experience. Our Captain was funny and explained everything we needed or wanted to know about the journey. The cook was beyond brilliant and full of fun and life with a great playlist! Her food was exquisite. The other 2 crew members were so helpful and positive that they were a pleasure to see working as a team. I winched up the main sail, untied ropes and danced in the galley kitchen. We had one of the most precious experiences of our lives. A million thanks to everyone.

Als wichtigstes hat die Crew diese Tour großartig gemacht.
Die Tatsache, dass nur 8 Passagiere auf der Tour waren, war natürlich glücklich und hat die ganze Woche sehr familiär gemacht.
Außerdem war(en) auch die Strecke(n) sehr schön und wurden sehr gut erläutert.

This BB tour was absolutely great great BUT;
The BIKES are not good enough. The tyres are too thin leading to an uncomfortable ride. Years ago when the bikes were rented locally they always had the more comfortable thicker tyres. Many Germans on thiese tours have their own bikes – all with thicker tyres.

that you are trying to take up the minimum space with the bikes, but a good comfortable bike is essential. We cannot fly into Amsterdam with ebike batteries so we have to use your bikes. If you have better bikes with bigger tyres we will do another BB tour (our 10th). Thank you

Had some issues at first night of our trip and we had to interrupt our journey. Got reimbursed really quickly, no issues. Thank you for you support and service. I hope maybe one day we will make it.
Dear Elena, Thank you for sharing your experience. We’re very sorry that your journey began in such an unfortunate way. We understand how distressing it must have been to discover bedbugs in your cabin, especially with your husband's allergic reaction. We’d like to clarify that the issue was limited to your suite and was addressed immediately after your report. The cabin was thoroughly cleaned and treated the same day. After you disembarked, your travel companions moved into the same suite and continued their stay without any further problems. You later requested reimbursement for a non-refundable hotel night that you had booked after the boat and bike tour ended and the fees related to changing your flights. During our phone conversation, I also offered to assist with booking a hotel so you could or rejoin the tour after a short break or can decide to go home, but you kindly declined at the time. We have refunded the full amount paid for your bike and barge tour, as outlined in our general terms and conditions. Unfortunately, costs outside the arrangements booked with us such as alternative accommodation or flight changes fall outside of our responsibility. In situations like this, especially when medical issues are involved, we recommend submitting a claim with your travel or cancellation insurance provider. If the allergic reaction and resulting changes are documented, there is a good chance those expenses may be covered. Should you need any supporting documentation from our side to help with your insurance claim, please don’t hesitate to reach out we’ll gladly assist. Warm regards, Romy
