We had an excellent experience with all aspects of the trip. All of the crew were very friendly and accommodating. The guides were excellent and the chef catered to our dietary requests. The captain was friendly and professional. We can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed ourselves. We already planning our next Boat Bike trip.

It’s hard to pick just one thing. I really enjoyed everything about this trip. The only (very small) suggestion for improvement would be to try to get a bit more storage in the cabin. For example, that tv on the wall is unnecessary. It could be replaced with hooks to hand helmets or jackets.

Staff and guides were amazing. I really loved everything about the trip. The meals were awesome and the hired bikes were great. This whole experience was way better than I was expecting.

Fantastic locations, fantastic tour guides and crew. This is our 5th boat & bike tour with Inselhuepfen and it did not disappoint. Would thoroughly recommend. Special mention to Chrysta the lead tour guide, who was exemplary.

We were recommended Boat Bike Tours by friends who did the Amsterdam-Bruges Premium tour 2 years ago so my husband and I thought we give the same tour a go and I’m so glad we did! We’re not “cyclists” but even we managed the long routes. The boat was lovely and the crew and guides were brilliant and more than welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience!

The guides and the staff on board really made this trip top notch. The chef and food were fantastic and the breakfast and packed lunch options were perfect. The accommodations were fine/standard and it was lovely to sit on the upper deck and enjoy the scenery. Our group of 6 had a great time and enjoyed making new, international friends. I would do this again.

Long story short, my non-cyclist husband said at the end of the trip, he would totally do another one of these trips. This trip allowed us to see the beautiful countryside, locals and experience great Belgian and Netherlands beers (and some chocolate) along the way. It only felt touristy once we reached Bruges. Bruges at night was quiet and peaceful once the cruise ship passengers left for the day. There were enough breaks in the day to learn about the surroundings from our guides. The barge crew took excellent care of us and the chef provided delicious local specialty meals and even a BBQ one night. One day, we enjoyed the ship (Magnifique III) while others rode and got to talk with the captain on the bridge and chill as the scenery went by. We took our bikes to meet friends in one town we docked in and never had trouble with touring “on our own”. The demographic on our trip was about 55-75 and healthy, interesting, active people from USA, Canada and Australia. 38 guests and a total of 7 crew (2 Dutch guides, chef, 2 hosts, Captain and a sailor).
