Our Tulip Premium tour was the trip of a lifetime! Although my wife did not cycle she enjoyed riding along on the rivers and canals. Martin, the crew hand was very kind to her and attended to her needs, like playing her favourite music. As an avid cyclist, I was in heaven for the whole week! The cycling infrastructure in Holland is awesome. And our tour guides Michael and Edith were amazing, with their focus on safety first, and their accommodating approach to all the attractions we visited, stopping at great watering holes and lunch spots – and taking us on city tours every evening. Our chef Timo and housekeeper were great as well, with their service. What really impressed us was the “all hands on deck” on the part of the captain and crew, from getting our bikes on and off the ship to cleaning up after meals. All in all a first class most enjoyable tour!

We loved the boat bike Tulip tour on the Zwaantje. The guides were excellent, the (standard) bikes were well-maintained, and the food on-board was high quality and delicious. One concern was that there were many people who were sick on the boat with bad coughs. It was clear that more became ill as time went on. Within the close quarters of the boat, I feel that masks should have been required for those with obvious virulent symptoms. My husband and I were not sick on board, but one week after the tour, we both tested positive for COVID, and while we can’t prove where we got it, it seemed pretty obvious when we came down with the exact same symptoms that those had had on the boat.

It was perfect. I loved the crew the itinerary and the ambience of the barge. The days were filled with fun adventures and I learned so much about the Netherlands, the water system. It was a perfect vacation and I plan to go on another boat and bike tour.

Such a great trip – everything was perfect – the boat, the bikes, the rides and the guides. Totally loved it!

On our trip they’re was a group of 18 from Texas. We will never use your services again until you are able to limit your groups to a max of eight. We almost always felt left out.About 3 of those couples made attempts to include us in their conversations.Thank goodness the other 2 lone couples were very nice.Otherwise the trip was a 10. The crew and boat could not have been better.

The barge, with Chef Steffi, was perfect in everyway. Comfortable beds, great food, wonderful crew, we enjoyed every minute we spent on the water with them. I even enjoyed my time on the barge after not being able to cycle after hurting my shoulder while cycling. I feel that it should be mentioned in your trip description that there is quite a lot of city cycling and that the native cyclists and drivers are quite aggressive when on the paths and roads. Most of the people on this excursion were from either the U.S. or Canada and we all agreed that it was much more mentally exhausting than expected because of how we had to share narrow trails and roads with people going much faster than our group. I fell after the second day cycling and was not physically able to ride after that. Even though I cycle in Oregon I found I was very unprepared for biking in Holland.

The captain and crew were wonderful. The food was amazing and the biking was perfect. This trip more than exceeded our expectations and we would like to book a similar excursion with the same group in the future.

Everything was well planned and the crew worked hard everyday to make the itinerary perfect. Food was great, lodging was perfect with comfortable beds, biking trips were planned well to fit the group. Tulips, the boat, and the bicycling…our vacation was wonderful!

Happiness is a trip on the Zwaantje. The crew and boat makes it special and exciting in every way. They take care of everything! The bikes are well maintained as is the boat. The food is delicious and plentiful. All of the rides were well paced and balanced with information about the sights and history and culture of the Dutch people. All of the crew had a delightful sense of humor and were responsive to my every need.I am a neophyte on a e-bike so I appreciated all the extra attention. The captain truly cares about each and every passenger and his amazing crew. The result is a fantastic experience that I will never forget.

Our daily tour leaders on The Fleur, Hester and Anna were considerate pace-setters. On board, they and all the crew kept us well fed and well entertained with an unexpected concert and nightly reviews of the next days itineraries. The ride, of course, was fabulous, as were the new friends we made on the tour.
