The tour itself was quite good.
The bikes were very outdated and need to be upgraded.
I felt like I was riding a ladies bike!
The Ride for GPS app was excellent so after day one we did our own thing, allowing us to ride a bit quicker and stop whenever we liked.

A fabulous trip!
We loved everything about our Boat Bike tour from Brugge to Amsterdam.
The staff was outstanding ( 6 out 5
🌟 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ), the accommodations were wonderful, comfortable and clean, the food was exceptional and the boat was lovely.
Each day our incredible guides took us on a great journey through two amazing countries. The stops were in quaint little towns, farms or gardens. It was extremely well planned.
We would absolutely recommend this tour to others and hope to do another one soon .
A huge shout out to Michael, Alexes, Sidi, Karema, Antine, Peter and Frans. We had so much fun with all of you!! Xo

Just completed a memorable trip through the Ionian Sea from Piraeus to Corfu on board Panagiota which was outstanding on every level. The crew, the guides (Yannis & Dionysis), the food & company were memorable, as was the organisation & itinerary.

The staff were pleasant, helpful, and accommodating. The room was comfortable and we loved the air conditioning and beautiful scenery. We would have loved to be able to sit on the balcony with coffee in the early morning before breakfast. We suggest having a small coffee maker in the room or having coffee available in the bar area or lobby before breakfast.

Fantastic boat, crew and guides, however a number of improvements which could be made. The tour on line and in the trip documentation seemed as though the riding could be done at your own pace which is not the case. Not a problem if on an 3bike but certainly changes things if under own power. Also riding times should start earlier to allow for the punishing heat – riding on roads when its 37 degrees is more than challenging, its unsafe. I felt like I was going to get heat stroke and vomit on the first day and a few of the riders told me that they did in fact vomit (on a couple of occasions). Food was dreadful, packet mix soup for entree with lumps of powder was truly unforgettable. “Salad” consisted of lettuce and cucumber and on one occasion was called “French salad” as it was lettuce and tomato. Insufficient vegetables, one main was fillets of fish (maximum 70g) and 2 small pieces of broccoli. Breakfast was usually a safe bet (although unsure how many times the sliced, highly processed “meats” were reused day after day, not much was ever eaten). Shining light was the scrambled eggs and bacon, however on several occasions the eggs were teamed with hotdogs (literally boiled hotdogs without red skins), again speechless. To be balanced there were a couple of meals which were ok, but they numbered around 4 across the whole week. Food was oversalted and stogy. I know this sounds harsh, however I’d love to see you adopt more contemporary approach to food on board the boat. An annoyance was the high price of alcohol on board which I guess is to be expected, but at least a price list could be visible, rather than guests having to specifically ask the price.

Just returned from an amazing week biking and boating from Bruge to Amsterdam aboard the Magnifique IV.
Everything from the guides, crew, food, bikes, boat created an wonderful experience. Each day’s route was planned to include breaks in unique locations and they were perfectly timed.
We wouldn’t hesitate to do a trip with Boat Bike Tours again. (we’re actually looking at a trip in 2026 already)
