Loved the riding and scenery. I personally found the navigation a challenge at times due to only speaking English.

It was one of the best trips I have ever been to. Great sceneries, planned perfect, best service and logistics, the bikes are well maintained, the boat and the crue just lovely. The food was excellent. The room much more spacious than I imagined. The combination between nature and cities was perfect. The amount of cycling per day did not need pre training if you are in shape but if you are untrained it might be A little tiring. The everyday explanation on the trail was accurate and we could go As A couple by ourselves. There was an option to go in A group with A guide if you want so you have all possibilities.

It was a very nice trip, well run. We will do this type of trips again.

Our boat and bike experience on the Danube was wonderful! The Swiss Crown was the perfect mix of casual and elegance. The food was great, the crew was attentive, fun and accommodating. The bike routes were varied and through beautiful countrysides and small villages. Everything exceeded our expectations!

This was the 10th time I travelled in the combination boat and bike tours, all over Europe. But this last tripp knocked off all earlier tours. The boat, the crew, the food, the service was outstanding, there is just nothing you can complaine Fortuna with its crew togather with their road finder were the best in all catagories. The rad-reisen group ran the bike portion. The amenities, service and food were all wonderful. Everything was well organized and delivered flawlessly. Staff cared and consequently the overall experience was very enjoyable. We plan to book another trip down the road. The ship was a bit dated for sure but you hop on board, enjoy the cruise and biking and soak in the great service.

We had a great trip, the boat staff and facilities were exceptional. They had to make some changes on the fly as water levels were low and there were high temperatures so original bike options needed to be modified. Staff adjusted to make the trip interesting. The food was amazing and offered me the vegetarian options that I requested.

Loved this tour! The guides were fabulous. The app was easy to navigate (we liked doing it on our own). The food was great. The staff was nice. The boat was lovely and comfortable. We would like to do another and have recommended it to friends.

It was a great tour, first after the pandemic, and they did an outstanding job. An easy tour for first time boat and bike cyclers it met the mark in every way. The way they did the sailing to and from Budapest we got to all the sites along the way. The food was wonderful, breakfast and dinners especially. We were allowed plenty of time to accomplish our cycling so stopping for beer and lunch as desired were lovely options. This was a perfect mix of cycling and sightseeing for those who were new to this type of travel. It’s a wonderful way to see the country and a trip you’ll never forget. A great mix of activity and leisure.

We were a group of 10 friends on the Passau, Vienna, Budapest cycling trip down the Danube. The whole experience was everything we hoped for and more. The ship was well equipped and comfortable with a lovely sundeck and nice comfortable cabins. We chose a suite with opening windows which I would definitely go for again. The views down the Danube were stunning. Every morning our bikes were taken off the ship and left ready for us to cycle off. We had a mixture of regular and e-bikes in our group and all were well maintained and comfortable. We were provided with saddle bags and a small bag for each bike. A nice choice of packed lunch was prepared freshly for us each morning. Lunch was available on board for anyone choosing not to cycle. The routes were well planned out and picturesque and we had a briefing every day detailing the route and special things to look out for. This was delivered with humour by Leslie, our wonderful cruise director who was extremely knowledgable about the local area and who cycled every day at the back of the whole group to ensure that everyone was ok. Leslie deserves a special mention for his ability to switch roles throughout the whole trip. His professionalism and good humour didn’t go unnoticed. The whole team, from cleaners, kitchen staff, bar staff etc were wonderful. All worked together as a team and ensured a great time for all on board. Special thanks too for the evening entertainment, particularly the piano playing. For anyone who is considering this trip then I would stay you will not be disappointed. Wonderful food in the restaurant, great cycling, not too challenging, lovely places to visit including a day in Budapest and one in Vienna, with the opportunity to go to a concert in the palace there. If I have to criticise anything I would suggest better air conditioning in the dining room and lounge that were at times too warm. Thank you to Boat Bike Tours. We will be back.
