Such a great trip – everything was perfect – the boat, the bikes, the rides and the guides. Totally loved it!

On our trip they’re was a group of 18 from Texas. We will never use your services again until you are able to limit your groups to a max of eight. We almost always felt left out.About 3 of those couples made attempts to include us in their conversations.Thank goodness the other 2 lone couples were very nice.Otherwise the trip was a 10. The crew and boat could not have been better.

Great itinerary, crew, and execution. Based on my experience with guided hiking and kayaking tours, I can say that Arnold, our guide is an outstanding guide. The briefing, the schedule, the narration of the history, the guided bike trips, etc. we’re flawlessly executed. I highly recommend this tour

The entire Boat & Bike Tour crew and staff were professional, skilled, attentive, and fun! Arnold did an excellent job leading 19 cyclists. Silvia, Agnes, Robin, and the Captain made our trip very enjoyable.

Arnold, our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, kept us moving and a fun guy to be around. The food on board was very good and the ship’s crew were all very accommodating and helpful. It would be beneficial for all people to have e-bikes on the rides as the group can only move as fast as the slowest rider. We rode in some wind and rain which made tough going for some riders. Still a fun week just make sure to have the right clothes!

Both the Sarah and the Allure crews were GREAT!! Simon was the best guide possible! Hester was not a great guide as I commented in the review of the Allure trip up the Rhine. I REALLY wanted the opportunity to buy Boat/Bike fleece, sweater shirts or jackets, but alas they were NOT available. It would be another profit center for boat/bike.

The entire staff of the boat (captain, cook, 1st mate and kitchen helper) were outstanding, and our bike tour guide was the best we could have hoped for. He was a local, and even took us to his home as part of the tour. Very well versed on the trip, and made many stops to point out various landmarks, points of interest, and cultural experiences. They took good care of us on both the boat and the bike ride, never felt unsafe, and the entire crew had a very good sense humor. Our room was a bit chilly at night, but we had plenty of blankets provided. Showers were nice and hot, and the meals were exceptional.

The barge, with Chef Steffi, was perfect in everyway. Comfortable beds, great food, wonderful crew, we enjoyed every minute we spent on the water with them. I even enjoyed my time on the barge after not being able to cycle after hurting my shoulder while cycling. I feel that it should be mentioned in your trip description that there is quite a lot of city cycling and that the native cyclists and drivers are quite aggressive when on the paths and roads. Most of the people on this excursion were from either the U.S. or Canada and we all agreed that it was much more mentally exhausting than expected because of how we had to share narrow trails and roads with people going much faster than our group. I fell after the second day cycling and was not physically able to ride after that. Even though I cycle in Oregon I found I was very unprepared for biking in Holland.

We had a fabulous week on the Sarah seeing tulips and lots of enchanting places in the Netherlands. Our guide Simon provided a full itinerary with lots of interesting information and safe riding. The crew in the Sarah provides a 5 star experience and are so welcoming. Agnes’ is a superior chef and we enjoyed every meal. In spite of lots of cycling and walking we left with tight pants ! This was our second Netherlands boat bike and we will be back ! Trip of a lifetime.

The captain and crew were wonderful. The food was amazing and the biking was perfect. This trip more than exceeded our expectations and we would like to book a similar excursion with the same group in the future.
