Advertise the trip as a repo tour, and reduce the price, or start the first trip from Cologne. The first few days were boring, cycling through industrial estates and time bound. There was very little time for village tours, and the villages were too few & far between. Due to Pentecost holidays very little was open, start times delayed and missed stops. It was obvious no one had cycled this trip for a long time due to detours, and dangerous ramping at times. Only e-bikes should be used, and training for new e-bike users. Franklin the guide tried desperately to come up with resolutions. I would not recommend this trip. Please note the tour started in Amsterdam, these first three days should be removed from the tour.

While this was a repositioning tour, it should still offer an enjoyable and well-balanced experience — we’re sorry it fell short in this case. Your comments about the route, timing, and bike use are very helpful and will be reviewed internally. We’d love to welcome you again, perhaps on our tour from Metz to Cochem, which offers a different and more scenic experience.

We have used this Company five times now. The smaller boats are very friendly, food is very good and the tour guides were excellent. We had a great experience.

We had a great time on Magnifique III. The staff and the captain were terrific. Chef Seti produced some amazing food in the small kitchen.
We had a suite so we had abit more room plus we were able the open the window.
The bike rides were great. Jans, Wilhelm and Eva were great guides. We’re glad we had the e-bikes.
We had one day of rain but we still rode on.
Bring a Tupperware type sandwich box for your lunch. You’ll be glad you did. ( I read this on another review prior to going- thank you to the reviewer).
Will do the bike- barge again.

We participate in the Aschaffenburg to Bamberg boat/bike experience from June 8-15. It was very well done on all levels, from the guides (Peter and Wil) to the chef (Arne) and his terrific cuisine to the boat crew (Elvira-Anita-sailor Robert-Captain Roy). I’d recommend a trip with this company – they did a fine job and provided a great experience!

The Magnifique 4 is a beautiful ship. Our cabin met all of our needs. We could not have asked for a better crew. I was most impressed with how well they worked together and supported each other. The cuisine was excellent. Our guides were knowledgeable and fun. The e-bikes were wonderful. All the places we visited were charming. I could not have asked for a better experience. Thank you!

A wonderful crew and bicycling guides! A trip of a lifetime. We lucked out with our fellow travelers – a super friendly bunch. All were supportive and caring and fun loving. The food was great as well. The rides were well thought out and enriching. The addition of after dinner walks in the cities were a welcome addition to the trip.

The overall experience was disappointing and did not meet our expectations.
The trip we took was as actually a repositioning cruise which we were not aware of prior to boarding. Consequently we feel the ’trip’ commenced in Cologne, days later not Amsterdam where we boarded.
The staff on board did an exceptional job with clean & comfortable cabins. Our guides seemed inexperienced in the route taken. At one point I was left stranded, by myself, on the outskirts of an unfamiliar town for 30 minutes waiting for the second group of the tour to arrive. This was due to a breakdown in communication between the two guides.
This particular cruise I would not recommend to my family & friends.
