Certainly the biking was excellent as were the usual great guides and staff but what made this trip so good was the Michelin quality of cook Frank. Each of our 12 dinners was not only different, excellent and varied but after many great trips this fare was beyond the expected. The extras include a special cheese tasting in France and of course a beer tasting in Belgium. The boat people and the guides not only liked us they liked each other and their roles. Not a negative Nellie in the bunch. I have no idea what it may take to keep Frank on your team but without question he is worth every penny of his compensation and more. L. Crockower

This trip was very fun but the biking was not beginner level. We rented the entire boat with friends and loved it. Our guide Michaela and the captain and the chefs were all amazing , attentive and very engaging. The bike tours were interesting and we covered a lot of territory.The food was delicious and there was lots of it! The 4/5 stars was due to some Bike repairs required and itineraries that needed to be changed due to canal work which slowed us down and made for long days. Otherwise 5star all the way.

The crew was excellent. The Magnifique III is a very comfortable boat. Food was terrific. Guides were knowledgeable and fun.

Extremely well organized and accommodations were comfortable and nice. The dinners were exceptional. The crew and tour guides were attentive, enthusiastic and pleasant. This was our 3rd trip with Boat Bike Tours and we were not disappointed.

Great guides, great food. Els, Michiel work very well together and were really helpful when one of our group had an accident and had to be hospitalised. We enjoyed Frank, the chef’s preview of our meals and the meals were very good.

The friendly captain inspired confidence in the way he talked about and handled the boat. The entire crew was pleasant, cheerful, and very hard-working. Public areas and our cabins were very well maintained. Chef made sure we had tasty and healthy food morning , lunch and dinner. Although would have appreciated some lunch variety. Even PBJ would have been welcome. The guides were knowledgeable and very good at describing sights and ride plans and guiding us safely during those rides. The rides took us through beautiful countryside that led to interesting sights and ride breaks. , Those who chose to stay on the Boat were made very welcome and had a great opportunity to see the gorgeous countryside that the boat sailed through We would definitely recommend such an adventure to other bicyclist.

What an amazing trip! Excellent boat, staff, food, guests and weather!!! Beautiful tours of 13th to 18th century towns, historical and war memorial information, lovely farmland, dike rides, forests and more. I ll be back!

The boat is beautifully outfitted. Staff & captain are great. The 2 guides were wonderful.

We had a 5-star experience onboard the sailboat Erato. Although the boat does not actually sail, the creature comforts benefited by cruising were exceptional. Due to the high winds in the Cyclades we were diverted to the Saronic Islands which did not disappoint. The high quality electric bikes made touring the islands a breeze and the islands were gorgeous. Our guide Dionysis,being very knowledgeable and informative made sure to point out all the highlights and swimming areas along the way. He, along with his crew were outstanding and the meals onboard were fabulous. We highly recommend this well organized tour. Kudos to our team, Dionysis, Nick, Vagelis, Bubu and Stavros

Compared to previous bike and boat experiences this one was less enjoyable& The mix of people in the larger group, the accommodations were clean and nice but I didn t pay to sleep in a twin would rather a queen for my husband and I to enjoy our vacation. Food was just ok, breakfast solid, chef made us a special meal one night and that was great. Help staff were excellent. Responsiveness to bumps like weather, lateness, loss of luggage needed better communication. Other companies have downloadable live gps systems not printed multiple page maps. Other companies don t make me being a helmet & water bottle and safety vest. Charging for water at meals& the little niceties make all the difference.

No JACUZZI!! I asked every night to use the jacuzzi which would have bee sooo nice after long bike ride. It worked but the staff wouldn t heat it up!! There were several of us who wanted to use it Don t advertise having a jacuzzi on your boat if you don t let people use it! Breakfast and lunch were awful and had not diversity. Same stuff EVERYday!! Last year on the Magnifique, they had beautiful baked goods and really nice things! Nothing to do at night in the boat!! We had some rainy weather and were stuck on the boat. Why not have a movie nite or games. No, nothing to do! Just the Germans drinking. I felt like I was held captive and it made me very upset It was not a full ship and we asked to upgrade our cabin which we were willing to pay for. asked several times, no response.
