“50 % not positive. Overall O.K. experience. No hot showers. Meals O.K. but 1 dinner was too spicy and too hot to eat. To get an alternative meal there was none, explanation was no provisions so there was nothing to give. Breakfast and lunch was a repeat of the same thing everyday. Our group who paid for a guided experience. Their were no guides???? The option for a “”Guide”” was to have a repair bike guy who repeated he’s not a guide, to do it. We still ended up lost on more than one occasion. Not fun adding unwanted distance to the ride. Along with no explanations of sites or history is not what we had in mind for the trip. Needed a flat tire repair at the end of the ride, in a city location and thank goodness not in the country side. We couldn’t tell exactly where we were to get located and have bike fixed. Tire pump in bag provide didn’t work.”

We had a great week! The Flora crew were wonderful and the food was delicious! We cycled through beautiful countryside and towns with so much history and charm. Our bike leader Tom was also fantastic. He looked after us very well. We enjoyed the whole experience and would recommend it once again.

Best Vacation Ever!! What a fabulous holiday. From start to finish this was a wonderful, well planned and enjoyable trip. The boat Magnifique III is beautiful and so comfortable. I stayed in a suite which was spacious and cozy comfortable. The crew on the boat were outstanding. Thank you so much to Maria, Ronald and David our guides for our rides. You were so pleasant and caring and made sure we were all safe, comfortable and took us to very interesting stops. Hanna and Alexandra did a phenomenal job serving our meals and tending the bar. Always with smiles and laughter. The food was top notch and I extend my thanks to the chef. Our captain was a joy to meet and allowed us to visit him in the wheelhouse and explained the boat operations. The very best part of this trip is the people you meet, Italian, British, Norwegian, German, South African, American and Canadian. We lived and rode together as one! I thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of this holiday and can t wait for my next trip with Boat Bike Tours.

Organized and people

This trip was wonderful. Our chef Sara provided wonderful theme based meals. Everything, including snacks, etc. was outstanding. Filippo our captain was magnificent. Helmut our guide was the perfect leader for our bike rides, our translations, our experiences. Loic was our captain in training. Hopefully he has enjoyed the transition to human cargo. This team worked so well together; helping each other as needed. This barge bike experience exceeded our expectations.

The tour guides – and entire staff – were attentive, responsive, fun, friendly and professional. The route was just stunning!

The boat, The Romantica, was comfortable with Air Conditioning during the 90 degree plus weather. Lunches and dinners were tasty. I think that there should be separate e-cycling guided trips and regular pedaling cycling guided trips. Our speed differential was noticeable. As a regular cyclist, we’d just get to the meet up spot and be off without rest since the ebikes were raring to go.

The MS PRIMADONNA is a very nice boat but the cabins on the main deck (should really be called the LOWER deck) are very noisy in sluices. A better cabin is outrageously expensive. Food very good, prices for drinks very acceptable, sauna and indoor whirlpool can only be privately booked, therefore hardly useable. Not too many seats on sun deck due to the glass roof. Service to get bikes on and off the boat excellent! – Guided bustour in Budapest terrible, a waste of time as we spent 1,5 hours at Castle of Vajdahunyad instead of seeing more sights of the actual city, only one photo stop and Caste area not included.

Small group made it easy to connect with other travelers. Very friendly and helpful tour guide. Beautiful location!

Fantastic new experience! The ship was great, food was way above our expectations, crew and tour guide were exceptional, and the people on board we fun to be with. We had a wonderful time!

Exceptional boat crew and guides. Food was very well prepared and delicious. Staff were friendly and guides kept us safe and very knowledgeable. Guides created an atmosphere that was welcoming and inclusive of all guests especially since we were of different ages and cultures.
