India is not one destination, but many. With its endless diversity of landscapes, traditions, and flavors, it’s a place that awakens every sense. Our cruising area in India offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience: cycle through lush southern backwaters and sail aboard a luxurious houseboat, then journey north to explore royal cities, ancient monuments, and colorful local life.
This is India seen from two sides—Kerala’s tropical calm and the Golden Triangle’s cultural richness—brought together in one balanced, thoughtfully guided tour.
The tour begins in Kerala, India’s green heart. Here, you’ll cycle between rice paddies, coconut groves, and spice gardens. Several nights are spent on a beautifully restored houseboat that glides through the palm-fringed canals of the backwaters—an experience that’s both tranquil and deeply connected to local life. Along the way, there’s time for tea tastings, cooking workshops, and warm encounters with the people who call this region home.
In Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur, the atmosphere shifts to grandeur. You’ll ride past ancient forts, visit the iconic Taj Mahal at sunrise, and discover the buzzing streets and serene temples of India’s most historic cities. From the Amber Fort in Jaipur to the Mughal gardens of Agra, every stop adds to the rich mosaic of Indian culture.
Throughout the tour, you’ll stay in carefully selected boutique hotels, with e-bikes, a support van, expert guides, and small group comfort included. The route has been tested and refined to offer the right balance of activity and cultural immersion. This is not a fast-paced sightseeing tour—it’s a slow, immersive journey into the soul of India.
