The lower deck features 21 twin cabins. There are 11 regular twin cabins (9m² / 97sq.ft.) at the back and middle of the lower deck, each with two single low beds (200x80cm / 78×31 inches) and 1 single cabin (8m² / 86 sq.ft.) with a single bed.
At the front of the lower deck are nine newly-renovated “superior” cabins (9.5–11.5 m² / 102–124sq.ft.). Two superior cabins feature a double bed (200x160cm / 78×62 inches), while the other seven feature two separate beds set together as a hotel-style bed (200×160 cm / 78×62 inches). If requested in advance, these hotel-style beds can be arranged as two separate single beds (200x80cm / 78×31 inches).
All lower deck cabins have a small window that can be opened.
The upper deck offers 12 twin cabins (9m² / 97sq.ft.): 10 cabins with two single low beds (200x80cm / 78×31 inches), and two with a double bed (200x140cm / 78×55 inches). All upper deck cabins have a window that can be opened.
All 33 cabins aboard De Nassau have an individual climate control system, mini-safe, small wardrobe, hair dryer, 230V sockets and a private bathroom with shower, toilet and basin.

De Nassau has a large salon with large panoramic windows on the upper deck that combines the restaurant, bar and a lounge area. Wi-Fi is available. On the partially covered sun deck, chairs and sun loungers invite for a stay. Here you can relax, have a drink and enjoy the scenery while sailing. Bicycles are stored on a separate part of the sun deck.

Map and GPS system for cycling routes is excellent and easy to follow.
Bart was an excellent Bike Guide and his daily briefings were informative. Very glad to have the use of an electric bike as rides averaged about 60km per day.
Food was generally good, but frozen vegetables were simply awful and served almost every evening. I really don’t see the need for frozen vegetables when fresh vegetables are readily available. If they have to use frozen, don’t cook them to death so that they end up limp and tasteless.
Bedrooms are tight, but beds comfortable with good air-conditioning. Showers are also good.
Staff on board were all excellent and very accommodating.
Would like to have daily guided walks in the towns we stayed in overnight. Only one was provided in English. Overall, a great trip.

Ride Briefings – Satisfactory
Cycle Guide –
1. I contacted him as arrival was delayed but vessel didn’t wait 10 minutes for my arrival.
2. I then travelled to first nights port and arrived before boat but called guide and let him know I was there. He gave me a ETA of 6:30/6:45 … when I boarded at 6:45 I was advised boat had berthed by 6:00 .. I was bit annoyed the guide had not made any attempt to call me. I had missed dinner!
2. I was not provided with any details of the following days cycle route .. I rode the route with a couple of other guests who did not comprehend how to use the “numbers” method of signposting.
3. The guide got caught out for not riding route when boat encountered difficulties and could not sail to the nights mooring. As such he was not available to assist organise guests when they arrived at end of days cycling to find “there was no boat”.
Bicycles- Great
Boat – Clean and Comfortable
Accommodation – Poor (Broken Bed)
The bed base had collapsed and I reported this on first night but it was not addressed other than by the housemaid moving it back into position but it collapsed again as soon as I laid on the bed.. I slept on it with foot of bed some 20cm lower than head of bed

We had a great experience on the Hansa Highlights bike tour. Can t say enough good things about the whole trip and have referred several friends to this company already! We really like the simplicity of this type of trip where everything is planned and you have a floating hotel where you sleep every night. We chose this boat (De Nassau) because it had operable windows in all rooms. The staff on the boat was so friendly and helpful, they really made us feel welcome and provided over the top service the whole time. The bike tour was great too, as was our tour leader Olga. Having the GPS app guide us through the country was great and simple (for the most part…;-)). The Dutch countryside and waterways are beautiful to ride through. Lots of interesting, historic towns on the route. If you haven t ridden a bike in the Netherlands, you will be amazed at the extensive network of bike paths Everywhere! It s unbelievable even through some fields between towns! Wish we had it in the US. Most of the time you ll ride on a dedicated bike path and at times on a smaller road with cars and a bike path. When you exit and enter towns, especially Amsterdam, there will be interaction with road crossings and bikes zipping around you so you have to be ready for that too, but you get accustomed to it. The food was very good and you pack your lunch to take each day on your ride. Overall we thought the trip was very well organized and great fun and a great value. We met lots of nice folks on the trip too from Holland, Canada, Germany and the US. We d definitely do a trip with Boat Bike Tours again! A couple tips we’d make is to bring a rear view mirror and don’t forget your padded bike shorts!
Thank you for your fantastic review! We’re thrilled to hear that you had such a great time on the Hansa Highlights tour and that our staff, the boat, and the overall experience exceeded your expectations. It’s wonderful that you’ve already referred friends, and we can’t wait to welcome you back on another tour soon! Kind regards, Boat Bike Tours
