I am André Buimer, 65 years young, and I live with my family in the Northeastern part of the Netherlands, a rural area. In my past job, I was able to travel and live in different parts of the world. Since my early retirement 8 years ago, I have been leading travel groups on a range of tours, but what I most enjoy is being a cycling tour leader.
I have bicycled with groups in many different countries in Western Europe. Cycling not only keeps you in good shape, but is also a good way to explore the country at a comfortable speed.
I’m very interested in history and I also like to do lots of sports, such as football (soccer), running and, of course, cycling.
I’m looking forward to showing you the beautiful landscape and telling you about the interesting places along our route.
