My motto is: Live a life you’ll remember!
After studying Business Economics, I had a nice (corporate) career in retail. In 1992 I made my first trip outside Europe to Asia, followed by many (distant) travels. Soon I discovered that I was infected with the travel virus, especially to destinations off the beaten track. Travel and photography became a healthy addiction and after two sabbaticals it was time to start working in the travel industry. In 2016, I followed my heart and definitively made the switch from retail to tourism.
It makes me happy to be able to share my passion for nature and culture with travelers, and I love to make sure guests will have an unforgettable trip.
Opening yourself up to different foods, new customs, beautiful people, extraordinary architecture and nature, what more could you wish for? What I like about being a tour leader is creating great memories, whether or not they are captured in special photos. In addition, the many encounters with people from the most diverse backgrounds, from all over the world, make it exciting, educational and varied. Especially going out together actively – cycling, walking, sailing – makes you experience a country and culture up close.
