Since my bachelor studies in Tourism in 1976, I’ve worked in the tourism sector. In my career of more than 45 years in guiding groups and organizing incentive trips and conferences, I’ve seen the whole world. Today I’m a city guide in my home city of Antwerp and I also guide in other Belgian cities. (I am a Tourism Flanders licensed guide).
I learned about the unique concept of Boat Bike Tours in 2017 and since then I can’t wait for each new season to give foreign guests an unforgettable week. My “Belgian Beer & Chocolate Tasting” evenings on board are much appreciated.
My hobbies: Everything that has to do with the history, interesting facts and regional products of my country. Most years I travel with my friend Dorine at least twice a year. And I also like to make time for my three children and five grandchildren.
The best thing about my job: Welcoming the guests on board and seeing them happily leave home a week later. Meeting so many nationalities and personalities. And of course the fantastic cooperation with the other tour leaders and the ships’ crews.
