    E-Bike Tour

The riding pace is determined by the cyclists on e-bikes. Guests who are taking part on this tour on a regular bicycle should have the necessary physical condition to keep up with this pace. The tours take you up to a height of between 200 and 500 m above sea-level. The daily tours from 15 to 31 mi./25 to 50 km lead you through hilly and mountainous terrain. Thank you for your understanding.

The ship – Your sailing hotel

In between cycling excursions, you cruise along with the ship, which travels to a new destination every day. You will sleep and have breakfast and 1 or 2 warm meals on board. Depending on the program, this will be lunch or dinner. The other meal is ashore (not included). It’s possible to spend a day on board if you like. There are rental E-bikes on board.

    Itinerary

Day 1 Trogir (Embarkation) – Rogoznica

Individual arrival by car to Trogir or by plane to Split airport, which is about 3 mi./ 6 km away from the harbor of Trogir. After checking in on the motor yacht between 1 and 1:30 pm in Trogir we head off on our first cruise at 2 pm to Rogoznica – a village on a small island that is connected to the mainland by a dam. Along the way we stop for a swim directly from the boat. Dinner and first night in Rogoznica.

Day 2 Rogoznica – Vodice – Slanica – Nature Park Telašcica
    27km16 mi

In the morning, we sail to Vodice, a popular holiday resort. It is here that we begin our first cycling tour, crossing the bridge to the island of Murter before continuing on to the Slanica on the northwest of the island. Here we board the ship once more and sail towards Dugi Otok. On the way we pass through the Kornati National Park, an archipelago in crystal clear water, known for its rich marine life. Our destination is Telašćica Bay in the Telašćica Nature Park. In the late afternoon there is the opportunity to go for a short hike up to the impressive, white cliffs that fall steeply into the blue sea below. In the bay of Telascica we can spend the evening swimming from the boat and the night is spent in the peaceful setting of the Telascica Nature Park.

Day 3 Island Dugi Otok – Zadar
    45km27 mi

After breakfast we start our bike tour from the Telascica Nature Park, along the almost car-free island of Dugi Otok to the bay of Božava, surrounded by pine forests, agaves, and tamarisks. Along the way we can enjoy the spectacular panoramic views across the stunningly blue sea. We meet the ship in Božava and board for a crossing to Zadar, a city which for centuries was the political, cultural, and spiritual centre of Dalmatia. Once we arrive, there is the opportunity to take part in a walking tour during which you will find out all about this fascinating city while strolling through the winding alleys and the lively old town, characterised by 3,000 years of history. The night is spent in Zadar.

Day 4 Zadar – Islands Ugljan and Pašman – Šibenik
    33km20 mi

During breakfast we sail us to Preko on the island of Ugljan. From here we cycle to Tkon on the island of Pašman, connected to Ugljan by a bridge. Today’s cycle leads along the east coast offering beautiful views of the sea and the mainland. We then board the ship once more and sail from Tkon to Šibenik, where we stay the night.

Day 5 Šibenik – Skradin – Krka Waterfalls
    32km19 mi

Today is a real highlight! After the morning crossing to Skradin, located at the foot of the Krka Canyon, we explore this area by bike. In the afternoon, we take a small boat to the Krka National Park where have plenty of time to explore the unique and truly spectacular Krka Waterfalls on foot. The night is spent in the postcard town of Skradin.

    Day 6 Skradin – Primošten
    28km17 mi

Enjoy your breakfast on a morning cruise to Primošten. Relax and enjoy your stay on board. After a swimming stop the lunch is served on board. Today’s cycle tour starts in the afternoon from Primošten, first to Rogoznica and then back to Primošten. You will spend the night in the harbor there and have some time to explore the town.

    Day 7 Primošten – Trogir
    40km24 mi

In the morning we hop on our bikes for the final cycling tour of the week from Primošten to Trogir. The route leads inland through small villages and, towards the end, offers wonderful views of Trogir and the island Čiovo. In the afternoon, there is plenty of time to explore the medieval old town of Trogir, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. In the evening, our last dinner gives us time to reminisce on the week that past and to say goodbye to fellow travellers, the crew, and tour guides.

    Day 8 Trogir (Disembarkation)

After breakfast disembarkation until 9 a.m. and individual trip home or extended stay in Croatia.

    Good to know
    • Itinerary changes: We reserve the right to make changes to the itinerary, depending on wind and weather conditions or organizational requirements. Sometimes the tour will be conducted in reverse order. You will find further details in your booking information package.
    • Language: Due to our international audience all Islandhopping tours are conducted in English.
    • Level 3 / 5: Cycling tours through hilly terrain with longer ascents of up to approximately 400 meters. All tours, including the elevation gains, can be mastered comfortable with electronic assistance. Suitable for cyclists who ride regularly and can confidently navigate varying surface conditions.
      • Distance: 27 – 45 km per day
      • Elevation: 100 – 600 meters of elevation per day
      • Road conditions: The roads are mostly asphalted and there is little traffic outside of holiday periods.
      • Traffic: Traffic is to be expected in and around coastal towns. The island of Pašman also has some road sections with slightly higher traffic.
      • Infrastructure: There are no designated bike paths in Dalmatia, so the bike tours take place on public roads, preferably on quiet side streets.
    • Relevant for all levels: Safe cycling skills and familiarity with road traffic are prerequisites for taking part in our tours. All tours, including the elevation gains, can be mastered more easily with electronic assistance. Anyone renting an e-bike should already have experience and be confident in handling e-bikes, as these bikes are significantly heavier and faster than conventional bikes.
    • Individual cycling This tour is primarily a guided group tour. Upon consultation with your tour guides, the possibility to cycle on your own along recommended, suitable routes, may present itself. You are free to set aside a half or full day to swim or spend on board the boat, instead of taking a planned bike tour.
    • Children: We believe that only children with a good physical condition and previous bicycle tour experience and a minimum age of 10 are able to master the cycle tours with their own strength. Please note that the minimum height for a rental e-bike is 1.50 m (4.9 ft.). Follow-me bikes, bike seats and bike Bungees can also be hired for accompanying children. Our reservation experts are happy to provide you with more detailed information on request.
    • Catering: The on-board chef is a member of the crew and prepares the breakfast and one or two warm meals a day. Catering starts with the dinner on the arrival day and ends with the breakfast on the departure day. The catering consists of 2 x full board and 5 x half board.
    • Our ships: Please do not forget that the ship is your hotel as well as a machine, which has to be maintained and operated – day and night. A certain level of noise is therefore inevitable.

Well planned and thoughtful trip. Excellent ship, good food, Excellent guides, each day was challenging, entertaing and fun! For this trip i used a gravel bike. I would use an bike next time! I made it though at times a little too challenging. So only choose a manual bike if you are ready to do long hills at bike speed. Overall both my wife and I were extremely pleased with the trip!

Croatia coastline and country are beautiful. Really enjoyed the biking through villages, islands and parks. Guides were very knowledgeable and ensured the group stayed together and travelled safely.
Would have been good if boat had not left harbour 45 minutes early and 6 passengers left behind. Guide got us a cab to join up at first stop. Captain should have acknowledged and apologize to the ones left behind. Very disappointing as boat/bike knew ahead of time that the boat had to leave early but did not communicate this to the passengers.
Washroom breaks were not always scheduled. Very difficult for seniors to bike 3-4 hours without a washroom break.
Accommodations were good and food was plentiful.
Loved all of the villages we stayed at overnight. Always moored with other ships attached so noise was a bit of an issue later evening.
